brutal legend (i was truly dissapointed on that one, idea good, execution not so much), wrath of the lich king expansion (wich was good, better than BC anyway, but still kinda loosing steam by now), final fantasy X and XII (wich were both good, but still ended up being dissapointments in a way (one too linear, one too short)), and ofcourse, i'm also ecqually excited (if not even more so) about ME2 and SW:TOR.

Yes, several times. Diablo II, World of Warcraft, Ocarina of Time when I was 15+. Super Mario Bros 3 and NHL 93 when I was a kid. Also, the game I was most excited about turned out to be a hoax, namely Dawn.

I did preorder the game, which I never had done before. I think that puts me in a new level of wanting a game.

I've never been excited over a game given a few weeks to it's release, so now im just hyper excited when theres only 1 week to go!

I think this reminds me of four specific releases: Xenosaga (huge Xenogears fan so this was a big thing for me), Parasite Eve 2 (Loved Parasite Eve and was a tad disappointed with 2), Final Fantasy X (I played every one at least once and was mostly excited for this one - I still love it), and Legaia: Dual Saga (a huge Legend of Legaia fan, but Dual Saga was average).



I think the only games that would make me squee more would be either a Legend of Dragoon sequel or new KotOR (I am looking forward to ToR though)!

Final Fantasy 7. I was 15 by then and i couldn't think of anything else until it came out.

I wasn't disappointed.



Right now i am more excited over Final Fantasy 13 than DA:O.

But i think DA:O will rock, nevertheless. Although i have my doubts that it will stand up to my expectations.

I remember being very excited for Age of Empires 2 and Fable 1. Many games have caught my attention, but something makes me think Dragon Age will be special. I am hyped. Which might be a good, or a bad thing.
  What if I don't like it? I have to! I loved BG1 and 2 and NWN1. ^^

I have never been this excited before. But now I am excited about Star Wars: The Old Republic as well. That will be my new crack once I get through DA:O.

Like others I have never pre-ordered a game before and I have been playing them since the early 80's so I guess that says something.

Before this, only Crysis and Mass Effect has had me this much up in a frenzy off excitement before release. There's also Assassin's Creed 2, Mass Effect 2 and StarCraft 2 that are currently building up excitement and may very well reach the same level before they are released.

Never. But then again I've never been waiting for a game for 6yrs or so (or whenever it was first mentioned) so it's not suprising I've now been worked into a relative frenzy!



In fact come to think about it most other games I've only ever found out about when I've seen them in the shops so I've rarely had any anticipation other than the wait to take it home which isn't really much time for it to build up ;-)
