Miss Lawson,

While we cannot firmly attribute the cause of the benign neoplasm to the irregularity in your genetic makeup, we can confirm that the progressive damage renders you unable to conceive a child.
About 12 percent of human women ages 18-54 have difficulty getting pregnant or staying pregnant according to data obtained from the Institute of Species Reseach (ISR). There are many support groups if you wish to discuss your condition and several options available should you wish to consider the adoption of a child.
If you require further consultation, please contact our communication officer.

Um... yes, we all read it. That message was sent after meeting her trying to hook people up. So people are assuming that she tried having a child, and it failed and so she went to see a doctor as to why.

It's just some anonymous spank and tickle, what? It's only OK when the man does it? That's some borderline racism. Miranda was never portrayed as a goody-two-shoes virgin saint. That's Tali's character. Miranda is far from innocent. If they want to think otherwise, that's they're problem.Pwener2313 wrote...

I wasn't aware that you were a troll, when did this happen?
That makes two of us. Not to mention that about a 1/5 of the world population is Christian Catholic and aren't ashamed of it, like me.

i think people should date other people casually in the game, like tali going back to her fotila dating other quarians, her own kind/species, miranda dating people exactly like herself, and shepard not dating anybody, "I have no interests in anyone, other than me going back home dammit. leave me outta you all's charades", shepard.JukeFrog wrote...
I'm not going to lie, the casual sex thing completely flew over my head. When I read that I was thinking, "Maybe Cerberus needs some bodies for experimentation." Didn't think it was that kind of experiment...

The irony of this is breathtaking... Miranda is supposed to be the perfect woman, yet is unable to procreate so in genetic terms she is one of the least desirable partners possible.

Let us not forget her father wanted a dynasty
I think it make things ironic for both Miranda and her father
her father wanted a dynasty - not gonna happen- which is what Miranda wanted, but at hte same time it come to some personal cost to her
Although I do wonder if he corrected that problem with her sister

I thought she was using the dating service to get medical records information or something like that from the dumb suitors. Could be wrong, but that's the gist of what I got from reading through the dossiers.
Going with the story, it's common for humans to seek companionship. She obviously has a history with Jaboc and decided relationships within the profession is awkward, so sought outside of it, but if you read all the comms with the potential suitors, they are all douchebags and she recognized that right away.
Remember what she said when Sheperd questioned her about her trust in TiM? She learned to judge people's motives and persona quickly from just a casual meeting.

She can't get pregnant due to a benign neoplasm in her... utero was it? I don't remember. Likely, Maleshep can't have babies either, so I guess they're both screwed.
It's very sad. Im guessing that this is BW's attempt to make her look more human. It certainly worked for me. I romanced too, and only to see if they have some kind of super baby, but irony creeped it's ugly head.
I have no doubt in my mind they'll change that in ME3.

Well by curing Miranda infertitlity and the Genophage, Shepard would probably try to make up for all the life he eliminated during his journey, by helping to create new one
