For this mission (N7: eclipse smuggling depot) I really sucked at it b4 I watched any vids, so there r lots of ppl who made those guides I have to thank. (sry I cant credit em all, too many)
NO DLC
For these vids, I didn’t use any DLC weapons or powers (some say DLCs like stasis & mattock r OP'd) so it proves that anyone can do it. In addition, no squadmates (Gibbed ME2 save edit), no pause.
Thisthread mainly serves 2 purposes (for some new players)
1. Guide for how to pwn these mechs as a war hero
2. An overview for different classes/comparison
+ *.Personal: closure 4 ME2 due to study/applying university
This mission seems so hard at first that I could barely survive w/ my adept on insanity but once u know the mechanism it's easier than most other missions that u don’t even need squadmates.
Here'show I do it: nuke the middle one so that it'll attack u instead of walkin tothe closest crates and kill it first, draw attention from the one on the left, then stop the one on the right asap, do watever u want w/ the last one - 20
crates saved

most weapons fully upgraded except for soldier(mid NG+) all lvl 30 insanity; all classes chose AR training cuz i like mattock
Adept - my favorite class tho I kinda suck at it

Infiltrator- luv stealth & sniping (used a lil different tactic here w/ cloaking)

Sentinel- I was stuck w/ the build(area overload, stasis) cuz I only have the "restart mission" save & took me couple of times to finish this, thus the most challenging one. U can see in the vid almost got 1 crate destroyed.
Key powers: throw(cc)/warp/overload(others might do as well, AP ammo might do better here)

Soldier - shud b the most straightforward, varied tactic- just destroy the mechs 1 by 1.

Widow's my favorite weapon but too lazy to upload the widow soldier, those from above shud be enough
Engineer's the only class I havent finished (for which the mechs will almost be destroyed by the Cain), but the tactic shud do fine for it as well, or someone can do it
As you can see, this is not hard at all, not to mention when u bring along Miranda who boosts ur damages or/& stasis/mattock etc. but of course, don’t b frustrated if u cant achieve this for the first time. I still cant 100% replicate all these. It takes some practice/reloadings & luck
