Youre claiming you hit Lv40 on DA2 before completion? I seriously doubt it. I did literally every quest available to me and only managed to hit Lv24.
I love the characters in DA2 and the interaction with them is great, however I feel the 'Main' storyline is a huge let down compared to DAO.
DAO was and still is a much better game than this. DA2 suffers from too much 'Streamlining' to account for the console muppets who insist on everything being 'simple'.

I did EVERY single quest available to me, and checked a guide to make sure I completed them all and only hit 25.

Now back to topic;
I sincerely hope that BW releases some new dlc for DA2 fast, in terms of lenght i found the game lacking, DA:O was HUGE <- yes huge with those same capital letters, and after playing thru almost every dlc they threw at us (except Leliana's song and the DS Chronicles), and being deceived with witch hunt, BioWare could really make it up for the fans of the game...

Nature of the beast
A paragon of her kind
The Arl of Redcliffe
Broken Circle
and The Urn of Scared Ashes
after that comes the Landsmeet and the ending
it might seem like such a lenghty game but DA2, compared to this has some main quests every few years in the game, the game is very large. It might still be less than the first but it is not small..

There will be appearance packs for sure. Why else is it not possible to outfit your partymembers with different armor?
I think that is a given. In terms of DLC I'd expect you'll get a release much like that of ME2. A few appearance packs. A few very small missions packs. Possibly one large mission pack.

I played through the entire game and did every quest that I could find. I hit Lv30. It might be possible to hit Lv50 if you did A LOT of soloing (as much as possible).
but you know it doesnt metter if you do it solo or with full party - you are getting same exp ?

You know you guys don't have to buy DLC if you don't want to just sayin'
Not buying DLC doesn't mean they don't waste resources making it to screw over players (because DLC is not worth the money, it's waaaaay overcharged). It makes far, far, far more sense to advocate for an expansion than DLC. You get a lot more content for your money and it appeals to more of the fan base. DLC is just a cheap money-making scheme for game companies...it's disgusting.

If people are willing to buy it, then it's not "wasting resources". And you're in no position to judge what does or doesn't make sense unless you happen to be part of development team. Devs are the only ones who have the relevant info needed to make such decisions.
Yeah, because if a product is overpriced, then no one buys it, right? Hah. Go retake an economics class. People buy overpriced products all the time (or products that don't actually do what they are advertised to do).* I can certianly say it is wasting customer resources if the content per dollar is far less than an expansion or a new game, and this is undeniable. DLC only makes sense because it is cheap to put out and because a subsection of the community will pay a ridiculous sum for it (like the WoW mount that cost 15 bucks). It isn't about being consumer friendly...it's about milking as much money out of them as you can.
What's your counterpoint? Big business are all about helping people out and caring for them? They are all about making cash, and they'll do whatever they can to make money. Ethics in a business that aren't enforced either by law or public pressure are very hard to come by. Or are you saying it is the Devs that call the shots on business decisions? That's very clearly NOT the case.
In any case, I'm certainly allowed to have an opinion on products, how they are delivered, and how much they cost. It's rather ridiculous to claim otherwise.
*Whether it's a con or just simple BS pseudo-science.

I disagree with you on that, if and only IF Bioware makes a huge DLC that really might make you interested, I think people might be willing to buy it, I know I will.
"Huge" DLCs are small amounts of content. Looked out how they raved about Lair of the Shadowbroker being the biggest one ever, yet the actual amount of play time is just a couple hours at best.
I am pretty darn sure most players never even consider buying DLC, just like most players of games like Diablo never play online. The option is there, but most aren't interested. The only reason they make DLC is because the return on investment is large. They make something "huge" that's 1/20 of a full game or less, then they charge 1/6 of the full game for it. Only a few people buy it, but since DLC cuts on content (less voice actor compared to a normal game, etc) they can still make money with the prices they charge.
DLC will not save the game...unless PERHAPS the DLC is huge, fixes the current game (map issues, plot issues, etc), AND is free. The vast majority of players aren't going to pay 60 bucks for a game and then another 10 to fix what shouldn't have been broken to begin with. They are also going to be disinclined to believe Bioware if they say DLC does fix it given how Bioware staff raved about DA2.*
Anyone that thinks DLC will save the game is crazy. Let's look at WoW as comparison (the only source of hard numbers on DLC that I know of). The best DLC they have isn't even purchased by 1% of the population. Even if Bioware DLC is 10 times as popular, that's only 10% of the people that buy the game (and I doubt it could possibly be significantly more than that...probably less). That is simply lacking the numbers to revitalize interest or respect for DA2.
*I hold EA primarily accountable for forcing DA2 to be rushed, but that doesn't excuse Bioware people from acting like it is awesome sauce.
