Cannot save game during the first fight after character creation. (Kocari wild?)
Loading forever after finished killing the Ogre scene.

Running on Win7 32bit.

I also couldn't save after Varrick starts telling the story from the beginning. I also couldn't autosave. After I arrived in Kirkwall, I still couldn't save. There was a weird icon on the right side of the screen during this entire time so I don't know if that has something to do with it. It looked like the dragon age 2 logo, the one from the shortcut, with a rotating circle around it. I don't know if this signifies an autosave that wasn't completing or not since I've yet to save a game in DA2.

Running on Win7 64bit. I'm playing the digital download from the EA store. I'm currently downloading the installer again to reinstall. Hopefully this will solve the issue.

Yep. I have the same issue. I have the retail version on disc. The little icon spins at the right and the save option is ghosted. I sometimes can save if I do it right after the character creation but it doesn't actually save the game. The character directory has the files that describe the character itself but no slot directories show up and no actual save game files appear. The EA help people told me to reinstall. I tried and no soap. I'll try manually deleting the registry entries next after the uninstall. This is not very good.

Yes, I also see that icon on the right side of the screen. I think it means saving is in progress but is not able to complete.

yea i have the icon and it wont save its really annoying cause i was playing it tried to save, raged and quit after playing like 10 hours
