Just a quick update. I was just searching on the web, and found this - I've tried it, but didn't make much difference under DX11 / Hi-Res Textures for me, but OP says it works, so hopefully this helps somebody.

Just tried this tweak using Nvidia Inspector, didn't help at all. Here's my updated findings. I'm using Nvidia ForceWare 267.46 beta drivers (it's same as 267.31) and DA2 patch 1.01.
MSI Afterburner GPU utilization from 3 video setting modes:
http://i.imgur.com/7Fdb0.gifRed shade = "Very High" settings; 50-70% GPU utilization; micro-stuttering.
Blue shade = "High" settings; 60-75% GPU utilization; less micro-stuttering.
Purple shade = "Medium" settings; 70-80% GPU utilization;
no micro-stuttering.
Call me crazy, shouldn't more intensive graphics utilize more GPU, not the other way?
Here are the Nvidia Inspector profile settings:
http://i.imgur.com/PeZ48.gifI play at 2560x1600 resolution, however resolution does nothing about GPU utilization or stuttering. I've played at 1280x800 and I still get crappy FPS and stuttering on "Very High" in-game settings.
Here's my system specs again:
2600K @ 4.7Ghz
Tri-SLI GTX 580
4GB DDR3 (memory isn't an issue)
120GB Intel SSD
BioWare mentioned that "Very High" DX11 is more intensive than most are giving credit, and for some of the posters in the sticky with last generation video cards I could agree they're maybe overzealous. My system however isn't. If I can score P16574 on 3DMark11, play Just Cause 2 at 60+ FPS on max, or Metro 2033 at 40+ FPS on max.. you get my point. Dragon Age 2 looks good, but it's not that hardcore BioWare.
