Saw this on the Vault--

--and was wondering if anyone here wanted or could make this work in game as a one handed crossbow? (possibly using a Sling as a base?)

well... if you put this as a sling, it will use the sling's animations.

You could add this like an 1 handed gun of d20mm (it has the correct animations). For using that animations you would have to add the d20mm haks to the modules where you want to use that crossbow or extract these animations and replace some of the game (the ones of the slings, crossbows, ...).

I do not think it is worth to do that :-S

Yeah, the sling animations would not be right. I do not have the skill set to pull this off, but thought it would be a nice addition for worlds that have Drow. It is their favored weapon. It would be cool to have, but not a dealbreaker. Just thought I'd see if someone with the skill set would be willing to give it a go.

I don't know about adding a HAK just to run this, but depending on the complexity of the HAK and what other features it may have, seems possible. I would like to see it available, but not married to it.
