I am happy to announce that your old BG1 companion, Coran, thief, archer, romantic and wyvern hunter(and a hopeless womanizer!), is now available in BG2, as well. A full friendship path, banters with all Bioware BG2 NPCs, player-initiated dialogue, ToB content, and in the next version of Crossmod Banter Pack, banters with Ajantis, Kivan, Tiax and Xan for BG2.

And happy International Women's Day, everyone!

I have always been wary of these iron chef projects... As I see it, a time limit generally stands in the way of quality checks (and deepness) and I really wouldn't want my love interest (which Coran wouldn't be, apparently) to stop talking to me after 3 short chats, forcing me to completely redo my installation with another romance option in place. I trust your abilities as a modder (I thoroughly enjoyed other stuff of yours) but if you could give some sort of reassurance that this mod has received all the attention it required, that would really improve his chances of being taken into my party.

I've personally tested everything from spawning to the epilogue, if it helps. That is, Coran's friendship works(it includes outside talks at night at rest, so if he hasn't talked to you over an hour, use that), and so does his player-initiated stuff. His major interjections, including Watcher's Keep ones, should also function correctly(I tested Spellhold/Suldanessellar/Volo/Solar, naturally), and so do banters and crossmod banters.

Writing a mod which doesn't have a deep romance track doesn't take much time, all in all. It's Bodhi abduction and other quest-related things that are difficult to code and maintain. Coran, given his nature, doesn't have a romance track(well, you'll see from his banters, if you take him into your party), but there are quite a few romance-related discussions with the PC.
