Like all of us on here, we paid full price for a game that we want to play. In return, we need communication from Bioware. Nathan, I think you have a pretty wide variety of hardware/software demographics to work with. So what's next?
Any information that you can provide will be beneficial. Even a "we are looking into it, but I won't have an update until tomorrow morning" would be something.
Thank in advance for your assistance.
We're looking into it. While we do have access to a fairly large amount of hardware through EA, we don't have a huge selection in our building (compared to the sheer number of cards & boards that have been released in the last ~5 years anyhow).
We don't currently have any ETA/solution because we're still trying to get this to happen internally. I'm personally taking the game home to try it on my wife's computer, as it is very similar to someone's specs above (it works fine on my computers at home and at work). We don't know if it's specific to hardware, drivers, or some combination of both yet.

The problem is the game cannot save. This presents itself as three symptoms:
--You get a perpetual "saving" spinner on the right.
--Your save + load options are greyed out in the "escape menu"
--You will hang on the next transition after a save is attempted (which for most people is at the end of the blightlands, because the initial autosave is still trying to save).
Programming is working on the problem now. I don't have an ETA on a fix, but we have been able to recreate it, which means we can work on fixing it now.

I have a triple-core processor and had the 'no save' problem initially too. Then I used an outside program (CPU Control) and found that my machine was only using a single processor to play the game. Once I used CPU Control to 'force' the game to use multiple processors, the saving problem went away for me... I realize this doesn't help the folks with single core processors, but it might be an alternative for some dual+ core gamers to waiting around for a patch/fix...
