I tried creating a saves directory inside the one that was created, all it did was create one with charactername1. When I didn't do this, it kept the old character directory and didn't create a new one. Still having the issue though, as creating a saves directory only makes it think it is a new character compared to an old save.
Cant get past loading screen.

Gave a shot to making a save on the working machine then taking it over to the non-working one...no luck. I can load the saved game fine, but saving triggers the same problem.

I'm installing the Beta NVIDIA drivers right now, and that apparently does not fix the problem?

The problem is the save
If i put auto save off i can play with no problem untill i try to save...
When i save the icon to the right of the screen appear, cant save anymore, and when loading screen appear it freezes.

Same problem, never-ending loading screen, got my copy from a disc bought new from Amazon.
What kind of processor do you guys have? I definitely remember a similar loading screen problem with ME2 because my processor didn't have enough cores. I've got an Intel Duo

All I wanted was to sit down after a long, stressful day, and finally play the game I waited so long for.
Guess I'll have to wait two months just to get past a loading screen.

I'm 99% sure it's a hardware problem. Because if it's a save problem, why is it only happening randomly?
It can't be a coincidence. It's a hardware problem.
And yes, I do have a one core CPU.

I wonder if it is indeed a hardware problem, and not a software one. Looking over the specs of the computers listed here, you see Intel & AMD, single and multi-core processors, different brands of video cards. It's puzzling, to be sure. There doesn't seem to be a standard connection for all of the users with this problem.

Well, there's a Bioware employee in this section answering questions, so I'm really hopeful he comes here and addresses the issue.
Having the mod adress it felt so nice, but having a Bioware employee do it will be even nicer.
