Running:

Windows 7 64-bit
ATI Radeon HD 4850 512mb
AMD 2.7 dual-core
4gb RAM
Direct X 11 installed

The game will run OK for a few minutes, then a pattern of black squares will flash across all textures. Then the game will just become a blurry mess of muddy textures. It's still running fine and the framerate is still great, it just is unplayable because I can't see anything =)

I've tried running it in DX9 mode, DX11 mode, nuking textures, enabaling/disabling hi-res textures, turning AA off, turning ASF off, etc. etc. Regardless of the combo of graphics settings I pick, the glitch occurs.

Sort of a bummer to stay up till midnight to play for a couple of hours, but that's PC gaming for you I guess!

Hi Bacon_00

Please ensure you're running the latest ATI drivers for your card. ATI will be releasing a new driver set sometime in the next day or so. That may solve your problem.

What I think Rob here means is to download the latest BETA drivers. Not the latest drivers. That's two different things. I had a similar issue (black triangles on the ground), downloading the beta Nvidia drivers fixed the issue.

The issue gets resolved when you disable the 1st of the 4 extra options (some shadow option, can't remember the exact name) in the very high detail. But I would really have liked to be able to play the game with full features, when I had just bought and installed a 2nd ATI Radeon 5870.

Just an FYI, disabling the 1st of the 4 extra options didn't fix the issue. Guess I'll just wait for the new drivers =) Also, ATI does not release beta drivers, so that isn't an option for us ATI users.
