Hello was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix the problem that all the characters weapons just show up as a solid red colour with no detail on them at all. Everything else looks fine and runs perfectly but the weapons just look rediculous and its kinda annoying

Thanks for any help that you can lend me

This happens when you start running out of memory. Possibly you have really low RAM or else it's being chewed up by other programs. The next thing to go will be spell effects

I think I'm having the same issue, or at least a similar one. Everything in my inventory, and all lootable inventory items are red, there doesn't seem to be a proper graphic on any items, it sort of looks like a placeholder graphic almost. Outside of the inventory screen everything seems normal. I have loads of RAM, and 2x 1GB graphics cards, so VRAM or system memory shouldn't be a problem. I've tried running the game in both dx9 and dx 11 mode, with Hi-Res pack enabled and disabled, all settings at low, medium and high. I've disabled all background apps, to no avail.

Edit: Have also got the newest non-beta drivers for my card. I'm a bit wary of installing beta software onto my machine.

Here are my specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel i7 975 processor @ 3.33GHz (8CPU)
12GB DDR3
2x 1GB NVidia 295 GTX
XFi Titanium sound.

Apologies if there is another, more recent thread on this topic. I've been searching for a while and couldn't see one.
