One of my ram sticks failed causing data corruption under a particular condition. The system could be completely stable or unstable depending on when I powered on system. I reformatted and reinstalled game before I realized the strange nature of the failure. The result is that I was unable to tell DRM that I installed ME and ME2 twice without uninstalling. I RMAed the ram and have completed a week of testing. I am now installing programs into my hdd, including ME and ME2. I don't recall how DRM for ME2 works, but I think for ME1 I know I want it to return 2 of my DRM activation rights. Where do I go to do that?
Had to reformat without uninstall: have ? about drm

You can only get an activation of ME1 back if it's still installed. If you format over it the activation is burned. That said, when I say "format" I mean formatting the OS. If the OS installation was the same, I imagine installing over the existing install may not have used an activation.
ME1's un-install program is supposed to do it automatically if you have the latest patch. But if you want to be sure, google for the EA Deauthorization Tool that lets you do it manually.
ME2 is a different and better system BTW, you get activations back automatically 24 hours after they're used.
