The Original Dog was called "Mug", because he had one ugly one at that.

With the DA2 one, I'm flip-flopping between 'Rufus', because I like that he might be able to say his own name, or 'LeChuck', because I did the rare literal thing, and fell out of my chair laughing when I heard the dog of Monkey Island:SE actually say that. Amidst all the barking, that is:
