I had to name him Hafter. I didn't name any of my Origins mabari that, but I was thinking of names a homesick Fereldan would choose and decided I needed an homage to The Calling.

My character, Julian Hawke, ended up naming his dog Biscuit. Probably because the mabari likes them! XD

My dog in DA:O was Fenrus, after the Norse Wolf... but DA2 kinda screwed that up by naming a character by the same name... So...

I loved my warhound in DAO, but he was relegated to the sidelines once I got the other companions I wanted.  It's awesome that he can come along regardless of who else is in the party in DA2!  I named him "Chops" in the original, still not sure what to name him here.
