 So I picked up my preordered copy of the game tonight from EB Games here in Edmonton, but when I got to the house in game to collect all my bonus items the two pre-order items weren't there. Is there something I have to do to get them?

Taking a quick look at your account I dont see those items or Black Emporium attached to your account, did you enter all the codes that came with the retail disc?

I entered the black emporium key and visited it as well it was just the sword and shield that didnt show up

i had to enter the code on the receipt 16 digits. go to gamestop.com/code

All I can find on my receipt is a 5 digit preorder number, nothing else

I'm not sure if yours works the same way, but they gave me a completely new receipt when I picked up the game(in addition to letting me keep my old one). About halfway down, just below the bar code, is printed "Thanks for reserving DRAGON AGE II for the PC or Xb360 Your registration code is: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX". That's the code you need to enter on the redeem promo page, assuming EBGames works the same as Gamestop. Aren't they the same company?

I got the SE and no extra code for the Fadeshear Sword or Lion of Orlais Shield but when I redeemed my SE rewards I got a quest for the two items. Havn't played more than 20 mins yet (because of work) but my guess is, that at least with the SE they are part of the SE goodies.

That very well may be the case. However, I got the signature ed. too, and inside the game there was a card with a red-orange background with three codes; two on one side and one on the other. One was for Exiled Prince, one was for Black Emporium/Warhound, and one was for Signature edition content. Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais did NOT show up in my list of content until I entered the 16-digit code from the new gamestop receipt on the "redeem promotion" page on this site. If you guys got your copies from gamestop, and those two items still aren't showing up, you might want to check in the bag they put it in for a new receipt with your codes on it.

The code is on your recept from the store you purchased your copy from. I don't know what they are doing about on-line orders. Stupid Gamestop forgot to remind me that the code was on my recept (I thought it was in the game). Needless to say, I just about threw it away.

just called the store up, apparently they didn't receive the codes yet and will be calling the ppl who pre-ordered up once they do

You are correct.  With the Dragon Age II SE the sword and shield are showing up under "Unlockables".  So I guess they'll be in the chest along with everything else.

Same here.. Pre-ordered from BB with the hopes of getting the code right away, but no dice. Hopefully it'll get emailed soon enough.

Same here. Picked it up in store, and they say I should get an email soon. 4 hours later with no email and I called the 888 best buy number. They cannot determine anything about the codes, but said it should have taken 15minutes. They said I should go back to the store and talk to the manager.

Not sure I want to go back and raise a stink yet... anyone know how long the email really takes from BB? Does it usually run a couple days?

When my DA2 SE pre-order arrived today, I thought I had been shorted on the codes for Fadeshear & the Lion of Orlais shield...
I pre-ordered mine online back in November from Gamestop,ca...
I was about to call them and look into the missing codes, but then I checked my 'Registered game Content' here on the Bioware SocialNetwork, and to my surprise, Fadeshear & the Lion of Orlais where already listed as unlocked items....
Apparently, somehow, the items where unlocked via Bioware/EA themselves without my needing the code to unlock them....
Maybe others are running into the same thing if they aren't getting the pre-order codes....

I thought I was cheated too and found them in my e-mail, from the EA store.

yea they were late with codes or something and had to email the codes to the retailers..., gamestop in Lethbridge taped the promo code to the back of the preorder copies lol....

With my last preorder from bb (fable 3) I got an email like 3 days after the game came out. Bb always seems to be behind. I should've preordered it from gamestop. But I've never had bb not come through, its just always late.

i didnt recieve the pre-order content either when i picked up Dragon Age 2. The people at gamestop said it should be included. The shield and sword codes were not in the game. I even check the recipt and i didnt see it on there. is there something i need to do to unlock them or what. I really wanted those weapons.
