My system:

Q9550
GeForce GTX 260

Vista Sp2
DirectX 10.0  (Jun2010) or later

But i cant select even High graphic settings, only low and medium available. I noticed that "Renderer"=DX9 and its grayed (not possible to select dx10)

can u help me plz?

Are you switching it using the config tool or in the video options found inside the game?

I tried both. In config tool rendered is grayed(DX9) and inside the game i cant select DX10, cuz i have only DX9 and DX11 options.

I believe you need sp3 to run DX11 in Vista... and since the game uses the DX 11 renderer for both DX10 and 11 cards, you need vista SP3 to get high detail otherwise the game wiill only do medium at most.

so it means that i have to reinstall my OS, cuz i dont kno when MS gonna release sp3 for vista. Im confused...reinstall os to get better gragh in game..

Just go to Windows Update assuming you have legit VIsta; the installation of SP3 doesn't necessitate a reformat.

Finally i found the solution for my problem. All u have to do is setup directx 11 on ur Vista sp2. If i get it right MS tried to hide DX11 setup for Vista users ^^.
1. So go to ur windows update manager and find "Platform Update for Windows Vista (KB971644)"
2. Install update
3. Check that u got DX11 installed via C:\\Windows\\System32\\dxdiag.exe

After these steps it will be possible to select DX11 as renderer and set up High graph setting. Inside the game u can select other DX11 features (depends on ur video card)

Emm...maybe im wrong but SP3 for Vista isnt yet released
