I instelled the game using the cd and I'm getting this error when trying to log into my EA account through the game:

There is no disk in drive. Please insert disk to:
\\Device\\Harddisk2\\DR2
\\Device\\Harddisk3\\DR3
\\Device\\Harddisk4\\DR4
\\Device\\Harddisk5\\DR5

I can continue past this but it won't log me into the game servers, any help would be appreciated.

I'm receiving similar no disk in drive errors but I bought my copy from Impulse....weird. It does let me continue past them after I click through a few times. Hope this is fixed...

I have exactly (well, not exactly, because my error shows devices 3..6) the same error. But the good part is that on the first game run it was all ok (the error showed up on 2nd run, after shutting down pc).

Hope there'll be some patch about this stuff soon...

I'm getting this same error, but it still lets me log in to the game servers. Weird.

Well, i've noticed that if you skip all (4) devices errors and then you tab out and in back in the game really quick (like in 3-4 seconds), then you won't get "connection to the server lost" error message afterwards and you will mostly stay logged.

Btw this error is (imo) definetly caused by internal card reader (which has "4 removable drivers" - 4 card slots). But i don't know why it took 2 game restarts before this error appears (i haven't changed hw or sw since).
I've just tested this theory - loaded sd card in my card reader and game suddenly reported only 3 hw errors (the drive 3 disappeared, which is the first slot in card reader for SD cards).

So there's some stupid ingame error with locating the CD(DVD)-ROM.

(my error is in ITA, so i'll try to explain it in english)
Something like that: DragonageII.exe error: please insert the disk. The (cd driver) could be open. Insert cd in the drive A (wich is my floppy drive)

FYI for BioWare. I'm having the same error where it asks for Disk A drive. However, I DID NOT have this problem until I installed the High Resolution Texture pack. My wife's PC (which does not have the texture pack) does NOT have the problem.

With the vanilla, original install I had no issue. The problem came up only after updating the high res textures. Don't know if that helps at all. :) My game works fine otherwise, I just cannot login. So I may not download the "Beta" patch since it's not a huge deal. Will wait for an official patch release later.

*gah*, patch has removed the error message, but also removed the ability to play the game. None of the menu items are now clickable. Could I have the error back please.

I get the same error, was also getting it in the demo. clicking through continue/ignore/cancle a few times either gives the connection lost to server or connects, some times have to try a few time.

I have an akasa fan controller which has a multicard reader as well, tho since installing win7 they aren't showing up in 'my computer' under devices with removeable storage but were showing up fine in vista.

when is the patch becoming 'final' non-beta? as kyitty I'll wait for now.
