Don't support Devs taking multiple steps backwards...

But that will now change and I'll make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from Bioware products and leech them to try them out before getting burned by mindless hack n slash.
How do you guys honestly think that this is an upgrade from the first game? I would really like to know how this atrcicity is any better?
The combat is a joke, way to fast paced. If i wanted to buttonmash id just resub and go play WoW... Hell even WoW is much slower paced compared to this abomination.
Since when is removing options good? You made the game super linear. Hell more then 60% of the game takes place in Kirkwall and lets be honest the one city is a huge step backwards not to mention that the only city you do have doesn't even feel alive.
Removal of skills and classes??? We used to have options I.e one could build a warrior that uses a bow n arrow or a mage that could wear heavy armor. All customization is pretty much gone. All skills have been dumbed down.
I didn't think i would say this buy Bioware you have fallen from grace and I'll be very careful to support any of your products in the future. Is this really what CRPG's are turning into??? Mindless hack n slash???
Obviously the 12-17 year old console kiddies will support this due to masses of blood but why alientate your long term customers??? I mean I have been supporting Bioware for for then 15 years and this is the straw that broke the camels back....

Yup mass removal of skills and classes not to mention options...I know the truth hurts....And yup I never had a reason to sign up to the bioware forums before, because in general I was always pleased with their games....

Oh I didn't I was unfortunatly stupid enough to buy it before really reading about it since well one would assume the 2nd part in a series would somehow resemble the first.....

All those pre-order incentives make sense now eh ?

Did you play console by any chance ?

OK: Here is the story.
Auto-attack option for consoles was added in to the games late in the development cycle after the initial certification build was sent. The auto-attack functionality was sent to be added to the game for testing and approval. This was why staff said it was in game.
Due to an error during mastering, the auto-attack file was omitted during manufacture.
We apologize for this. It was meant to be in game, but it is not currently in the console versions. We are working on how best to distribute this to console users. When we have information, we will let everyone know.

The vast majority of this OP is more destructive than constructive. I reccomend commenting more on how they can improve, and less about "EA Pressure", "Mindless hack and slash???", and so on. It kinda comes off as this:

Its like DA2 except you press A on consoles.

In the first game if you spawned skills you would run out of stamina...in this game its next to impossible you attack as fast as you can click. I loved the tactical feel of BG and DA:O but thats feel is all but gone and I probably spent a good 15+ hours playing the retail copy

I'd say this, and those who don't provide adequate support after release, but Bioware have never been very good at that.. NWN being the single exception.BobSmith101 wrote...
I'd say don't support devs who only tell you about missing features the day before the game ships.

Uh huh because your sorry ass would know... Ask ubi montreal... besides me working in the industry doesn't have **** to do with the topic that bioware pretty much let down all their long term fans.
