I also found that it won't run in DX11 on full screen under either of the wide screen modes or the normal mode

I'm having an issue that nobody else seems to report.

I can run in full-screen mode with absolutely no issues except that everything is actually offset to the right and down by about 1/4-1/5 of the way down my screen.

I'm running a GTX460SE and have tried both dvi and hdmi out. This happens in the demo and the full game using both the most recent tested drivers and the beta drivers.

As with most everyone else, this issue only happens when running dx11 so while not "technically" game breaking its a deal breaker for me because i didn't upgrade my hardware to play new games at mediocre quality

I seem to be having a strange crash everytime I run full screen with DX11 - telling me there is no disc in the drive. Anyone else?Posted Image

I also had the problem with no full-screen (it would have the offset), but managed to fix it.

I had it checked on in the configuration utility, but when I checked graphic options in the game it had not been checked. Checking it in the in-game settings should set it to full-screen.

Well I figured out my problem. The game was trying to scale to my desktop's DPI settings (i put it to 150% so I can read web text from my couch and my eyes are ****). Once I set my DPI to normal I'm able to play normally with full screen working

Glad to hear you got it fixed :) I'm still stuck even after fully reinstalling my video drivers. DPI is set to default 100%

Wow 5 min till 5:00 and I figured it out (right in time to come home and start playing). Teamviewer had a small app that was embedded into the window and would not allow it to maximize fully. For anyone else that might still be having an issue. Please try to go to msconfig and disable all of your startup items to see if that helps.

You are my saviour

though you dont have to disable all startup items - just find a window that has the teamviewer icon on the top and in the pop up box that appears will be a button saying "Disable this feature" click it and hit okay to the message box (but leave the check box unchecked - as it will only disable that instance of it instead of all of them as you want)

Again thank you

True no need to disable startup for team viewer however if it's another program that might be causing it to not maximize it might be a good idea to disable all of them first so the issue may be narrowed down. I'm glad this fix helped both of you :)

This was absolutely it, thank you!  Closing the Teamviewer app from your tray also removes the embedded app.

Yeah, I ran into this.  I set it to normal, and then manually adjusted what font sizes I could via desktop personalization, but some stuff was still annoyingly small.  So, I tried 125% DPI, and DA2 was able to cope with that setting.  That works fine for me, but it's possible you may be able to eke out some more enlargement with a custom DPI setting, so anyone running into this may want to give that a shot.

Thank you so much for this suggestion.  I was tearing my hair out over this one.  It basically prevented me from playing the game unless I put it into windowed mode with a super low resolution.

My experience was the same as yours with both the demo and full game.  I have my font DPI turned up because I have my desktop connected to the TV in my living room.  Makes it much easier to read web text that way.

For others that might be having a similar problem, here is the behavior I was seeing:

After the game loaded, the main menu is displayed, where items such as "New game", "Load game", "Extras", "Downloadable content", etc. appear.  When hovering my mouse cursor over any of those items, they would not highlight and I was unable to click on them.  The only way I was able to select these options was to move my mouse cursor about 4 inches to the right and 5 inches below the option I wanted to choose.  I know this sounds confusing...  Maybe I'll upload a screenshot.  But basically, the mouse cursor is nowhere near where it's supposed to be in order to activate these options.  Upon reaching the "Choose your class" screen, I was able to select my class, but everything looked as if it were zoomed in so that the "Confirm" and "Back" buttons trailed off the screen entirely.  That meant I wasn't able to go any farther than this unless I put it into windowed mode at the lowered res.

This issue is not limited to widescreen users. I'm having it with 1280 x 1084 (my monitor's native resolution). I do not have TeamViewer or any other kind of similar software installed. I have already disabled all of my startup services and applications.
