Sorry for delayed response. Don't have a floppy drive and disabling it in device manager didn't change.

My error currently says either:
There is no disk in the drive. Please instert a disk into drive DeviceHarddisk3DR3.
or the same but with:
DeviceHarddisk4DR4

Disk Management does not list anything like these. It has C:, D:, E:, and System Reserved.

Not sure why, but it seems to start up whenever logging into an account, whether that's automatically upon entering main menu, or manually logging in myself.

If I delay clicking continue on the pop ups long enough, the game will give me a 'could not log in' error.

EDIT: Digital Signature Edition; EAStore

Rebooting seemed to have fixed it, not sure if the disabling mentioned at the top did this or not.

Same here, goes all the up to Harddisk7.   Happens everytime, when the client is signing in.  Rebooting didn't help me though.

Have digital version from Direct2Drive.
Win7 Ultimate 64
DX11

EDIT:  Disabling floppy plus rebooting stopped pop ups.

I suggest that you go to configure and tell it to rescan your computer, also you can go under drivers and select the drives to see which ones aren't connecting and such.

This might help, I was having the same Harddisk 1-4 problem, but after turning down the screen resolution to 1280 X 800 and high detail graphics "off" the game ran smoothly. Please note that I was having this issue on DX9 and 11, but have fixed the issue for 9 at least. 11 still causes the error, but that may be due to my grahpics card limitations.

Well, i have simillar bug.

I've installed and "tried" the game today at 0:15 (i've actually received the game from shop at 10.3. in 18:00, but due to "release date" i had to wait tim midnight) and it was all just fine (i have singature edition with all added items installed).
Hour ago i launched the game again and suddenly (no changes made to system or game whatsoever) this error shows everytime the game starts to load account:

"There is no disk in drive. Please insert disk to:
\\Device\\Harddisk3\\DR3
\\Device\\Harddisk4\\DR4
\\Device\\Harddisk5\\DR5
\\Device\\Harrdisk6\\DR6"

As i was saying, this didn't happen on my first game run (i was playing about 2 hours). Now every time i start the game, this annoying stuff appears.

I have win 7 64 bit (freshly installed), 8gb ram, n460gtx.

I hope that there'll be some patch.

Edit:

I think that the game (for some reason) is looking for disk in my card reader (which has 4 slots, thus looks like 4 removable drives in system). Still, i don't get it (yes, the card reader was there before i install the game - as i said, i've made no changes in sys/hw).

For me the no disk problem is actually caused by my printer(Epson) of all things.

If I don't have anything in the SD/MSpro/xD slot I always got the disk error. When I put a memory card in the no disk error went away.

The card reader always shows a removable drive(F:) even when it's empty, unlike my computers card reader, which hides/unmounts the drives when their empty.

If your still having this problem and you have a printer with a card reader either turn off your printer or put something in the card reader if you don't want to turn it off.

These disk-related errors should now be fixed by the 1.01 BETA patch - http://social.biowar...0/index/6482838

I get the same error.  To resolve, I had to disable my floppy drive in device manager, which was no problem as I don't have a floppy drive.  I also had to stop my USB printer and SSD drives.

Running AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 5200 with 4Gb ram under Vista Business (32bit) and DirectX 11

Retail SE version of DA II
