I'm getting an error where "my windows version is incompatable."

I own the Steam version of the game, closed down Steam and restarted it.

The exact error message is:

"The version of this file is not compatable with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

I'm running 64-bit.
Suggestions?

I was able to fix this myself. I needed to redownload it.
It downloaded the correct file (at the correct size) -- just had a weird bug I guess.
