 I had to get a new PC and now I've just re-installed the game. I'm starting over from scratch and find that the game won't let me re-use the promo code I had used before. Is there a way to get this reactivated by a "higher power" or am not going to be able to play a fun part of the game I remember because I can't just rebuy it.

No. Just click profile on the left there and then "registered game promotions" and you can download it via the link there.

You can also go into the game and go to Options > Online and make sure "Download previously purchased content" is checked.

Thanks for the help, to both of you! I registered my game but unable to find a download anything button. The only things showing are for DragonAge2....which I don't own! lol. It's early morning so maybe I'm just not seeing something?? Thanks again for the help!

I just tried this...and there isn't a box saying anything about "previous purchased" anything.

You can also try manually installing it... see http://social.biowar...8/index/6265850 , go to the second section on DLC issues, and follow the links to the Dragon Age Wiki.

Thanks for the quick responce. I just noticed I have DAOrigins.exe Version 1. I'm assuming this is why I don't have what that screenie shows. Why isn't there a simple "click here to get newest patch info" anywhere? Why must the customer search through a website and run a seperate install. Pretty sure we're an advanced race, it should be something the game does itself or provides an easy way to update. Side note: I just remembered I had bought Warden's Keep. Hoping that and the Shale stuff is still connected to me.

If you can see it on the entitlements page,  you own it.   The notification of a new patch usually pops up in the ad space below the buttons on the launcher.  As to the advancement of humanity, I am just content to see proper diction (the difference between race and species, for example) and agreement between subjects and verbs ("are still connected").

This is what I see on the entitlements page: The Far Cliffs Of Kirkwall, Lothering's Lament, Of Things Not Lost. I clicked on the bottom of the launcher and within that it tells me to "Find Witch Hunt in the list of Titles..." There is NO "Witch" anything listed. This is why I'm getting frustrated. The only things showing are the Cliffs/Lament/Not Lost options, showing in three different platforms. No Witch, nothing else. I cannot download the 1.04 patch.

Am I suppose to download every patch after the ver1 I have, install each, then finally end up with the last? Why wouldn't I be able to just download the latest and be done with it?

Time for my patented idiocy: I have a few suspicions about your problem, not that I can help mind you.

Your account you're using to post these issues was created on the day I post this; yet you claim to have re-installed the game and the dlc worked for you on your old PC (i.e. prior to your join date) . Something there is wrong. If everything worked before on your old PC, then your account can't be dated today. All dlcs require an EA account to work. This leads me to believe the following is the case.

You used the code on another account, an old account, and created a new account for your new PC. If so, you'll need to contact EA to sort that out because obviously your new account won't have those dlcs linked to it (they'll be linked to your old account).

The other possibility is that what you presented to us is not actually correct.

As for patches...only 1.04 is available on the forums so I would guess you don't have to apply all patches in an accumulative manner. If you didn't know patches are found under the 'Games' tab at the top of the page.

EDIT: Additional: that you say going to check your registered game promos only the DA2 stuff shows lends credence to my guess that you created a new account which is why there are no DA stuff on the account you're using for posting this issue.

Remember to turn the DAupdater service on again. Sometimes, it helps to logout and then login again.
