 I have orderd this game got the disc and received it today it has installed fine up till i have to check the realease date

i get this message 

This application cannot be used until the offical release date has been reached , Please wait until the offical release date and restart thee application at that time ,
Click cancel to abort the process 

Your release date will be : 11 March 2011 ,00:00

does this mean i cant play the game till then ??<_<

I am having the same issue. I live in Puerto Rico, our relase date is same as the US March 8th 2011 yet I cannot play because the Release Date Checker says I need to wait until 3PM my time? Any info regarding this?

My securom release date check is giving me an error. It just keeps giving me failed to connect. This is very disheartening.

Same problem as with Puerto Rico, I am in Mexico which is supposed to be in North America, that is why I was able to buy via download in the first place.

Same here, it runs to 30% then kicks me to the retry screen.

I just get this: "An error occurred during the online release date check.  Click RETRY to try again."  Needless to say, "RETRY" does not help.

Use a free trial of FlyVPN to give yourself a US IP and it will pass the check no matter where you are in the world.

Hmm, wierd, I just posted this before but it didn't appear.

Install a free trial of FlyVPN and connect to a US server - this will give you a US IP and the release date check will pass fine regardless of timezone or time+date settings on your PC.

Hi, its already now 9 March but i still get the "An error occurred during the online release date check. Click RETRY to try again.". And "RETRY" does not help.

I also have the same error on my computer. "An error occurred during..."

One thing I can say is that when I installed it on my husbands computer (we share a router), he had no problems getting through the release checker. Yet, still, I cannot get through on my computer.

I'm getting this after reinstalling DA2, I had it installed but I had to reformat my computer. I've been googling and forum searching for days now, is there any way of making it work again?
