To stop the flood of inevitable "GOD DAMNIT ANDERS" topics, let's discuss this here.
The blowing up of The Chantry is unstoppable.
But what can be prevented is the amount of effort you put into helping Anders.
Completionists who complete every side quest seem to be the ones who feel the most betrayed in the end.
What do you think of this whole Chantry explosion? I killed Anders after he did it.
Haven't been able to choose the option to let him live, yet.

Oh yes I think my jaw hit somewhere in the deep roads when i saw the Chantry shattered into pieces. A thin line between Justice and Vengeance.

Much to Sebastian's chagrin, my Hawke romanced Anders so he was allowed to live after the destruction of the Chantry. They agreed to run off with each other after the end.

Does Sebastian really leave no matter what, if you spare him? Even after maxing out his loyalty or rivalry?

Well, whatever decision one makes at that point it just feels wrong Oo
Bioware did a Masterpiece with DA 2, had no game in a long time that left me in that kind of inner conflict ^^

However I would be really interested if there is really no way to end this whole thing peacefully...
