There is directly below a button to "Enter Product Key." I would do just that but I am incapable of clicking the button. In fact, it will highlight when I mouse over it but none of the buttons work on the window and the only way I can even close the window is by using Alt-F4.
What should I do?

After spending good money on these games, is it really necessary to spend even more on phone calls etc to try and get the game to work...We can't all be stupid - ergo there is something seriously wrong with the product itself.
VERY Disappointed in EA/Bioware

The quote above is from a message thread that is almost a year and a half old. None of the comments added to it today belong in the coffin with the corpse. Necroing threads this old is valueless.mindstorm wrote...
I have installed the game and registered the game to the website. When I start the game it is said for me to "Activiate Your Game" and input my account email and password. However, when I put in that information the next screen states "We could not activate Dragon Age II on this computer using the EA accoutn you provided. Please locate your product key to activate the game using your EA account."
Read the forum description: Dragon Age II PC Technical Self Help. This forum is for fans and owners of Dragon Age II on PC to assist each other with technical questions and advice. Official game support is provided by Electronic Arts at the link at the bottom of the page. Fans are encouraged to try to assist each other here.
There is no Bioware presence. None. They ceased to have anyone watching the place after the first patch, as usual.
You do need a moderator, yes, to LOCK this thread. But there is no "support" other than game players here, and there is nothing that we can do about what you are experiencing, further, IMO, this place is a GAME TECH forum. You appear to have a SITE problem. There is a SITE forum for such use.moobird wrote...
Likewise, I am beyond frustrated with this, everyone seems to be having the same issues - so where are the answers from tech support/moderators??

Should those people in that forum try to send you back here, and you cannot find threads six months or less since last active to resurrect, you must start from scratch with your own personal thread.

This is a GAME discussion forum. You appear to have a SITE problem. There is a SITE forum to use. That one also is mostly gamer to gamer. However, unlike this forum, there is some occasional interaction from a pair of Bioware's people in that forum.
