Ok so i went and killed 2/3 of the groups of mercs when i went and killed the 3rd group in the city at night time i accidently hit the zone into the sewer area and when i went back top side i couldnt grab the item off the dead mercs! i tried zoneing i tried reinstalling i dont wanna restart game i'm over 3hrs into it.... kinda drives me nuts....

EDIT: BTW the quest i'm refering too is called "Duty" i believe...

The problem is you are entering the sewers before the journal updates. You don't have to loot any of the mercs, You just have to kill them all. But if you enter the sewers before the journal updates, the journal is not updating. I've passed along the issue.

Ive had this exact same issue on the Xbox360 and must say that I hope "passed along the issue" means we will have an update that fixes the glitch without us having to restart the game... It would be a shame to have to choose between restarting the game or not being able to enjoy "The Exiled Prince"

I Agree its BS to get the DLC spend money on it and all then not even get to enjoy its benefits...

Any update on this issue? I even tried reloading an earlier save and for some reason the quest was already completed up to the bugged part, even though i loaded a save where I hadn't started it yet. Kind of frustrating..

Dang, glad I got used to waiting 3+ minutes for quest updates during DA:O (The Fade in Broken Circle).

I recently did those quests, and it did take a bit for the quest to update.

An update, After completing the deep roads expedition the Flint company mercs reappeared in Kirkwall, allowing me to kill them and continue with the "Duty" quest.

I had the exact same thing happen...that sewer door is a tricky one...

on a Quick note... if u get this glitch good news i got past the Deep Roads Main Quest and after that the enemies where @ the docks again to re-fight!
and you cant pick up the DLC char untill Chpt 2 anyway.... after the Deep Roads he appears in the chantry once u finish the quest "Duty".

Yeah I am having the same glitch...bah was hoping to get this all done before I went into deep roads as I have cleared every other quest but this one.

im havin kind of the same problem. i actually completed all the Exiled Prince quests and everything to do with it but none of the achievements unlocked. has anyone heard anything?

 I have done Duty 3 times and once more after i reinstalled it and i still am not getting any of the acheivments! So if anyone has word on when patch will be reliesed on fixing this bug, it would be welcomed greatly!

I've beaten the game once already, and I did every Exiled prince mission.
4 of the achievements show up on my Bioware Social profile, but none appear on Live.

I played the exiled prince dlc and finished the dlc got the gift for him and everything and it only gives me 1 of the achievements and that is for finishing the first quest. I already tried to re do it and it still doesn't give it to me.

just finished the exiled prince dlc and no achievements popped for me either. heard a rumor that there might..MIGHT be an update at the end of the month so im waiting on that

I hope that if and when an update happens that it gives me credit for already completing the necessary requirements. I'd hate to have to play the game through a third or fourth time only to have the update released afterwards and no credit for the achievements. The game is decent but not decent enough to warrant that many playthroughs in such a short amount of time.

i cant get it to work i beat the quest but no acheviment i thought i was doing something wrong i have palyed that quset 6 times and still nothing

A gamer friend who does have these cheevos on Xbox Live told me to delete the Exiled Prince DLC from my (our) hard drives, and then re-download it from Xbox Live. This is what he did, and the achievements are now popping in his current game. It's worth a try.
