So I am planning on making a Force/Blood mage, but I am having some difficulty deciding on how to build it. Should I go heavy Primal or Elemental? Also how should my stat accolation be? 2magic/1con,will,cun every level? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Some things to consider -

Primal has no friendly fire, which is great for nightmare.

Mage armor requires both magic and WILL POWER, so that should factor into your decision as well.

Well I am playing on normal I don't think friendly fire is a big issue for me. If friendly fire isnt an issue, then which is better? Since mage armor requires Magic and Will, I think I will focus on those two only put some points into con and cun. Thanks for the reply.

This is the way I look at Elemental or Primal, do you want to create cross-class combos(Elemental, ice for brittle) or take advantage of them(Primal, Chain Lightning for staggered, stonefist for disoriented)

One secret for a BM build is to find the Neophyte Robes (Lowtown merchant? 16 MAG/WIL required). It improves the health for mana ratio of Blood Magic by an additional point, and I confirmed that it works. I just hope it stacks with Blood Lust: that'd be a 4:1 ratio!

Edit: It keeps getting better and better. Apparently the +Blood Magic quality I found on the Neophyte robes is a generic magic item property that can be found on various rings, robes, and perhaps other items. With a ring and a robe with the quality equipped, I'm getting a 4:1 Blood Magic ratio at level 7, all for about a gold coin's worth of items. Is this a balance issue? The Tempest spell (normally 50 mana, one of the highest costs in the game) is casting for 12 health.
