 I was waiting for it . And now the review is out , I trust JV with my life and alwaise agreed 100% with their reviews ... I guess DA2 came out to early .

Hey man, without the link that's not saying much.

So here it is, it's in french, and i have to say, this is not good, because Jeuxvideos.com usually give really good notes with ease. so 12 is a really, really bad appreciation from them.

I can summarize their review : too many fights, and they're not as good (tactically speaking) as the DAO fights. Game has been stripped down from a lot of good things such as inventory and non-fighting skills.

Even the story and the quests are not really attractive for them. Exploration is... well there is no exploration, all areas are just linear corrirdors (yeah even outside) with just waves of ennemies and a lot of ... fights.

i'm not really fan of this site, but still, this review is really bad omen.

Damn it, I still have to wait to play it but I'm not sure I even want to now. This is just pissing me off so much, why did they have to mess with a winning formula? Why does Bioware steer aware from their original fans expectations and keep trying to dumb the game down?

Money isnt everything Bioware, respect is far greater in my eyes. But then again I have only played the demo so I may be exagerating.

Oh rly? Last time I checked anything above an 80% score was a damn good game... and by far the reviews are falling into the 80-95% range.

Metacritic at 85 for PC,  awful reviews clearly.

I still think this will be a good game, but for sure this will not be DAO 2 : it seems it will be a good RPG, not a great one.

It's worth noting that they tested the game in French, and complained complain about the approximative French translation and poor voice-over, but clearly they didn't like the new direction.

Don't you know... Bioware games need to have a >95% score to be considered good.

Considering how game journalism works these days, yes, anything under 90% for a major title with lots of bribe money behind them is pretty bad.

Mayhaps they will hold on with the BioWare Treatment (if it's broke, let's operate it with a chainsaw, it's easier than with a scapel) for the third installment.

It makes sense to a fanboy. Kinda like how the demo is awesome, yet if anyone doesn't like it, it suddenly isn't representive of the full game.

Actually, the reviewer played on hard, and tried Nightmare. This is the main subject of the last paragraph of his review.

They stated in their review that they tested the game on hard and nightmare because no challenge in the "Normal"mode.
