I am struggling here. I'm stuck between thinking you are:

a) somebody who cannot believe someone can have another opinion to yourself, who will call somebody a HATER for their opinion. I have stated that I have nothing against people who liked ME1 more than the sequel, as I can honestly see the reasoning they give. I have stated I dislike the way you are forcing your opinion on others. I am not trying to force my opinion on you, just trying to make you see how silly and petty you sound. I haven't told you to not portray your opinion, but to stop doing so in a rude manner.

B) A massive cu*t

Probably both to be honest, and with your consistent acts of ignoring what I have to say re your manner towards the subject, a waste of time.

c)  A passive agressive crytard.

After having read that interview with DA2's composer, who basically admitted that DA2 was a "rush job" and that EA was just trying to capitalize on the succesa of DA:O, I'm not too excited for ME3.

I'll probably end up buying it, because I've already invested so much time into the series, but if Bioware caves to EA and rushes the game out the door before really making it GOOD by Bioware's standards, it will definitely be the last game of theirs I buy out of loyalty.

I'll bet that if EA had made the original Halo, then Halo 2 would have been much poorer than it turned out to be. EA's interest seems to be solely about making money; they have no interest in building franchises or expanding them through quality-driven games, even though they certainly have the resources to do so. Sure, being under EA can potentially mean you'll be given more resources to play with, but that means nothing if you're not given the time you need to make an outstanding game!

I'm really sick of this ape corporation ruining our favorite franchises. Really. I guess we'll see how ME3 turns out, but for the moment EA/Bioware has go me really jaded about the games industry.

At least Gabe Newell's still around. :P

I'll be pre ordering ME3, I've liked all the other games I've played from Bioware (still need to play baldurs gate one day), and though I didn't like DA2, one bad game isn't going to deter me.

I wonder why every guy who doubts an upcoming game´s worth and makes a thread about it starts by saying:

don't get me wrong I was a huge bioware fan, I bought and played ME1, ME2, and DA:O, since day 1 release. Check out my gamertag, I even play the KOTOR games from time to time. However...............

And hasn´t registered all of the mentioned games IN SPITE OF TELLING US TO CHECK IT!!!!!!!!!

Love DA2 despite the recycled environments.

So no, I'm not hesitant about ME3.

It it may soothe you, I hadn't even known what BioWare was before ME1, but I was blown away by that game, had huge expectations for ME2, think it failed miserably, and ME3 is going to suck as well.

I didn't mind the combat or asthetic changes of DA but the game was small, constantly recycling dungeons and completely uninspired. Bioware's style is becoming way too redundant for me they haven't broken from their formula for quite some time.

ME3s development time is simular to that of DA2 and for that I am worried. I wasn't one of the people who were worried about BW after EA bought them up but now I'm seeing their finger prints all over BWs games.

I'm not hesitant at all to buy ME3 (I might go ahead and pre-order it sometime down the road once I get a clear idea of a release date). I played through ME1 (though I have no plans to play through it again ever) and spent a damn good part of last year (and the start of this year) playing ME2. I feel like if ME is gonna be a trilogy, why not just complete the set? By then I'll probably have some new computer hardware prepared to render the hell out of what might be in ME3. Besides, I consider ME a separate game from DA. I may not be buying another DA game but that doesn't stop me from buying the next ME game (I mean, the money I save from not buying a DA game could be put towards buying an ME game).

anyone can look through my achievements with my xbox live gamer tag online and check ive actually purchased those games since day one and beaten the main game and most of the DLC's.

No one can register ME1 on this website and I had no desire to bring DA:O with me to university. Only brought ME2 with me for the future DLC's.

I don't want to stir up the hornet's nest here but I'll say this much:

The game sacrificed much of its soul in the name of "accessibility" and didn't achieve any significant improvement in sales over its predecessor. I'd say it's certainly not a massive success on that level at least.

Ideally what they should be doing is building from what they started, not trimming the game to chase an audience that isn't there.

Loved Mass Effect, Loved Mass Effect 2. Dragon Age 2 is a great game for what it is. Can't wait for Mass Effect 3. Guess I'm in the minority on this forum.

I can't believe I'm stooping myself to this, but I agree with Zulu--the CoDheads aren't interested in story or character development. Bioware is all about story and character development. Marketing to CoDheads = Bioware is no longer Bioware.

It's like trying to sell flowery-smelling bubble bath to football jocks.

Thankfully, ME2 managed to bring in the pew-pew without sacrificing too much of the good stuff.  I hope that more of the good stuff returns in ME3, and that the pew-pew gets even better.

No you're not. The rest of us are over at the "What is Arrival" thread.

Yes, ME2 was amazing! Haven't played Dragon Age 2 yet, but I am sure all of these negative attitudes are probably RPG-nuts going berserk again :P

pretty sure if we clicked on people like you in this topic, they will just be posting in these exact same topics making the same accusations, all to try and protect their beloved ME2. Thomson Family I think you are the one who has probably posted more than anyone in this topic. In fact, it seems to me, people who are actually hesitant about ME3 mostly create 1-2 posts here explaining why, while its the same people like you continuously returning back to this topic trying to discredit us.

I'd compare ME2 to surviving a plane crash, other people share more optimistic views.

Why guess? Look up the numbers and post it -- unless you're just all hat and no cattle, cowboy.

EDITED P.S.

OK. I did it myself. Spacedesperado has posted 10 times in the last two days. Five of those replies have been to this thread.

I, on the other hand, have posted on this thread twice in my last 10 replies -- and eight times on threads on unrealted topics. I've also posted more in the last five hours that TSD has in two days -- because I have something else to say besides "I don't like ME2."

Don't take my word for it. Click yourself.

Drew Karpyshyn's absence from ME2 was incredibly noticeable.

This. :(

Drew Karpyshyn's presense in ME2 or ME3 wouldn't make much difference, since he wouldn't be the one calling the shots anyway. He would have had to deal with whatever the current "original vision" of the franchise prevailed in the executives' minds at any give point of time, which is pretty much what Mac Walters has had to do in Drew's absense, no doubt.
