Sorry to be a pill again, but I have another graphics issue to report.
Is anyone having weird missing texture issues? Some NPCs have missing textures on them which causes some portions of the model to become transparent.
Pic One - Note the area around her neck.
Pic Two - Note the character's right arm, hands and chest area.
Pic Three - Same as above, but different NPC.
Pic Four - Note that the huge shoulder guards are almost completely gone.
This loss of texture is consistent throughout game play, both when walking around and during in-game cutscenes.

I was JUST going to make a thread about this. It seems I am missing exactly the same things.
It seems it happens when I turn the graphics up to high. I'll just have to deal with the missing bits, because I CAN'T STAND the low quality textures.

I just tried the game with the setting set on low, and sure enough you're right. They're there.
After doing some experimenting with the settings set to High, I found out that the texture is present when you're at a distance from the NPC, but vanish when you get closer to them. Looks like when the game switched to the close proximity texture, it fails to load in certain areas.

I wonder if this is a general issue or a specific mac or graphic card issue?

I don't see this issue (yet) on my machine. I have every setting maxed out on latest iMac i7. I wonder if this is graphic card dependent?

I have seen this and can confirm that it's not seen on low settings. I also can't stand the low settings and just live with the textures disappearing. Alot of merchants seem to have this problem.

Can you post your spec? If might be related to certain machines or graphics cards

What's interesting is that all reported issues are from NVidia cards.
From reading the PC discussion it seems that they are having more issues with NVIDIA cards then with ATI cards. There is apperently new demo drivers for PC for NVIDIA (and ATI) but they are still seeing more issues.
Let's hope that Bioware releases fixes soon and/or that apple releases 10.6.7 that is supposed to have graphic fixes as well.

Odd that such a BIG bug would be missed in development. Eh, patches patches patches...such is life in the Mac video game world...

yeah it's pretty clear they rushed the release in general. Let's hope they have a patch coming out soon (I was suprised it wasn't out on day1 of release but perhaps after Europe get their release it will happen?)
The game has a different flare then I expected. But I love the feel so far. Much smaller in scope but I feel characters all have better motivations so far.

Well, I'm running with PC, but having the same problem.
For whatever reason some of the NPCs are missing textures. For an example; I'm facing a group of mercenaries - well, some of them look just normal, but some are only showing their armor pieces and weapons and are missing body parts. I'm not getting errors, crashing or anything because of this, it's just - well, stuff missing.

Can you post what graphic card you have? It seems to be an Nvidia issue but it probably helps Bioware to confirm this. Perhaps is only pertain to certain models or something

I've got odd textures -Glowing Blue Eyes - on my charcter just as I began Act II and completed Sebastian's second quest. Up to this point - no problems with med settings, high detail. Thought it was game-play glitch and attempted earlier reload. It is everywhere. Suggestions?

I don't have missing textures, but I do have funky shadows on the character's faces and body. Hard to explain, I would post a screen shot, but they are all black... :/

Well I'm also having the exact same problems as OP and crazily have the same specs. Hopefully they patch this it's only annoying on random NPCs hopefully doesn't happen on a group NPC.

Sigh. Bioware, after so many updates to my machine, the game and the video drivers, I'm still having the same issues. What can I do?

I never had a problem with missing textures, until recently, even on low settings the textures would all show up.
Update: Well the textures in my game are back. I don't know how it happened, but they're back.

Now running 10.7.2, not only is problem still persisting, I am now experiencing half and half results. A templar will have his right shoulder pad present, but not his left. I think I should reinstall the whole game and see what happens. Will advise.
