 Where is Isabela's home? She refers to it being in the hangman's tavern, but I can only see Varric's suite when I go there. Am I missing something?

Isabela hangs out by the bar in the tavern.
She won't appear there until after meeting Anders.

Another question: Is there a known glitch in her quest where you can't get into the Chantry? I try to open the chantry for the last part of her recruiting quest and I just unsheath my sword and can't go in..

I'm having the same issue as Jaws_Victim. I don't want to progress into the next act if I can't finish it. Surely there is a patch?

Same problem here. I've saved/reloaded, restarted the game, run around attempting to trigger anything, restarted my computer, played other quests then came back.... NOTHING WORKS!?

I've read elsewhere that she can be missed out on! I don't want to do that!

I think I may have the answer to your "inability to enter the chantry" thing, but it might seem redundant. Were you guys actually close enough to the door or the target itself? It takes some getting used to, but you need to be in range for something to be accessed instead of swinging your weapons and taunting.

Ok. The fix: you have to redo the part where Isabella asks you to search the bodies... WAIT UNTIL SHE ASKS YOU TO SEARCH THE BODIES. Otherwise the quest breaks and you just stare at a door in frustration for an hour and then end up replaying 3 hours when you impatiently play ahead... : (

i don't understand where her face icon is in the hanged man, i take her out of my party and its still not there.....

Just add her to your party then enter the Hanged Man and talk to her that way. If she's not in your party she's usually standing by the bar to the left of the entrance.

i still can't get a cut-scene conversation

You won't always be able to talk to your companions in their home environment (I spoke with Merrill once right after she moved in and haven't gotten any further convo options since). Usually you'll have a specific companion quest that will require you to go to that companion's home and speak with them then, otherwise, you won't get any conversations with them that I know of.
