So I log into the social.bioware.com site, head over to the forums, but as soon as I enter a topic, switch to another page or any such thing it logs me out from the site. It doesn't actually say anything, I just get logged out and the place where the profile picture usually is gets replaced by the log in and password boxes.

It worked earlier today and I haven't changed any setting or anything like that. Any idea what's going on?

It's not just me then. I checked the other sites I frequent and I'm staying logged in on those. But it seems to have stopped for now, so here's hoping.

Edit: Or not, just switched back to DA2 forums and ended up logged out again.

Not just me, this has been going on for ages, but it's like every 1-2 minutes now. It's not bad enough the site is slow as hell, now I've got to lose posts because it logs me off???

It's logging me out, but tempermentally. I can browse but it'll randomly log me out.
And just to back Warlokki up; The forum does feel ridiculously sluggish. I think it's to do with Dragon Age 2.

Hey guys, we're looking into this. If you reload your page does it say you are logged in? Or do you have to go back to the sign-in page?

I hit F5 to refresh and it brings up the member login on the upper left of the screen. I've also had it bring up the login when I tried to PM someone. It just brings it up in the popup window.

Edit: I tick the "remember me" box EVERY time. And every time it is unticked when I have to log back in.

Sometime it even logs me out when I go from one page to the next on the forums.

More often then not, reloadinh the page leads to me getting logged out and I have to input my login details in the little box up in the corner again.

Reloading seems to work, I just did it with this reply.

Hit the quote button, it showed me as logged out with the 'not authorised' screen, hit reload and it brought me to the full reply screen.

Edit: and it did exactly the same when I finished the reply, and when typing this edit, I'm suspecting I'll have another reload before this bit appears on the forum

Edit edit: Seems a little random, first edit went through without a hitch, then I tried again (just to see), repeated 'unauthorised' and logged out, even with refreshing.

If you are finding the site slow we also recommend going to play Dragon Age 2.

Reloading does not work for me at all...as for actually getting the priviledge of playing DA2...don't even get me started.

This is so bad, this has been happening to me since Dragon Age: Origins when I tried to redeem codes for items and register the game itself, but every second I'm logged out and unable to redeem anything. I'm actually surprised that my 50th try at actually responding to this post actually worked.

I've been hit by this heavily for the past couple of days -- it started on Saturday, after I got a "the site is undergoing maintenance" reponse on a page hit. It's seemingly random -- sometimes I can go for about 15 minutes with no problems, and then suddenly I have to log in on every single page that I hit on this site. Reloading doesn't help. Sometimes completely exiting the site and going back in (but with a fresh login -- "remember me" is seemingly never respected) will work.

Up until Saturday, I'd had no problems for months -- heck, I had to look up my password, it'd been so long since I'd had to use it.

What's really weird is that, although most of the time I can at least get autocomplete going to make it quicker, sometimes that's not even available -- as if the browser (IE9 in my case) is being served a page that it doesn't recognize as being the "same" as other Bioware pages.

P.S. My first several attempts to post failed, saying that access was restricted. I couldn't even get to the form with which to post directly to devs, as is suggested as an alternative. This went on for twenty minutes before everything mysteriously started working again... for now...
