Anyone have a fix to this issue?

As far as I know loging on to the servers is the only way to unlock any bonus content (items, etc) that you can't simply download by going to http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php (basically everything other than the Black Emporiom).

Haven't been able to logon since the game unlocked.

I am also having this issue. I had the same problem with the demo, but I just assumed it was due to the ridicules amount of bandwidth traffic.

I wonder if this is what is causing the release date check errors people are receiving.

so much for being an honest person and buying the game, right people ? everyone knows u can download the game from internet with all the DLC and working without those SERVERS. Now I bought the game and have to wait for Bioware to fix this. Thank you very much, Bioware

It doesn't even seem to check the server because there is no waiting time. Just an instant "cannot connect to server message". I wouldn't care except that I can't activate the signature edition bonus items without logging on. Activation and release date check went fine so I don't know what is wrong.

I can't even activate my game. It requires a log in and it keeps returning an incorrect email/password error. I reset my EA password twice before stumbling on this post.

I spoke with one of the tech support people and he had me download a digital copy. I doubt it will help so I am still searching for alternatives but one can hope...

I had a thought, I am using Google's Public DNS. Is anybody else using this or are you using something else?

Since I already have a digitl version, chances are this tech support 'fix' won't do anything.

So I just talked to a Live Chat support guy (http://support.ea.co...ivechat_landing) and he said that they haven't heard of this yet, but to try a re-install. Since I'm a Steam, its going to take a while to re-download, but if you have this problem, go bug the live chat people.

I'm having the same issue on my computer. I even reinstalled the game, thinking maybe I messed something up, but no joy.

I tried installing it on my wife's computer to see if that made a difference, and bam, she gets on just fine. Except, we've got the same hardware, same OS, are plugged into the same router, etc. I even did a bare bones boot of my system without any antivir, firewall turned off, etc, etc, stripped it down to nothing and still no joy. Soon as I hit log in it comes back with servers temporarily unavailable.

After ten hours of fiddling with this, unable to use any of the DLC I purchased, I'm more than a bit frustrated.

Typically these types of problems are due to your connection being blocked client side or somewhere en-route and not reaching us at all.

For those experiencing the issue, please attempt to telnet directly to the following IP/ports:

Redirector: 159.153.235.22 port 42124

DA2 PC slaves:
74.205.9.215 port: 15013
74.205.9.216 port: 15101
74.205.9.222 port: 15201
74.205.9.223 port: 15301
74.205.9.224 port: 15401
74.205.9.225 port: 15501

If you encounter problems pinging any of above, could you then perform a traceroute (from Windows, the command would be: tracert i.e. “tracert 159.153.235.22”) and post the results to this thread.

That should help us identify where the problem is. Thanks!

Same issue here. Firewall down, virus software off, cannot log on. Would love to find out a fix so I can use all this DLC. :(
