Huh, you kidding me? Only parts I didn't like were the internet references. Cookies, Cake, all that- breaks the immersion something immensely.

How does Sten's fondness for small sweet pastries break the immersion? I must be missing something here.

Leilana: "I know you have a good person inside" [sic]
Shale: "If I have a person inside its because I ate them" [sic]

Altough I don't smile much, and I spent most of those moments just smiling I did enjoy the humour of DAO alot.
Some highlights: Leliana/ Shale banter (The whole spirit sisters things... and this was before I found out Shale's gender), Alistair/ Morrigan banter (In fact, any time morrigan mentions alistair, which is ALOT), Leliana in general (The fact that she remains so "girly", strutting around in the deep roads dressed in pink whil talking about shopping and internal happiness and everything always cracks a smile on my face, she's one big can of chicken soup to me) and the flirting of Orghren/ Zeveran with every female member, and of course alot of what Alistair says, and all of the moments where you can tease him are just too hard to resist.

What? I laughed out loud many times. The banter between the characters could be hilarious.

I don't seem to have the best character conversations.
Most of mine involve Lelianna and Wynn. The one with the Orleis girl and cherries was good. But most involve doing good deeds and such. *yawn*
And shale is the one in Warden's keep right? Stupid DLC. You'd that would be included in the collector's edition of the game. Oh well. I guess I wasted money buying the collectors edition, I might as well buy that.

Oghren and Zevran hitting on Wynne or Morrigan. Or Oghren ripping on Alastair for being a virgin, and then beginning to coach him. Sten has the best low-key humor though.
And I laughed at the cake is a lie. I also laughed when I saw the graveyard with RIP: John Doe, human commoner.

Oghren talking about Branka and Hespith. Maybe the best line in game

No, Shale is the free dlc you get along with the Blood Dragon Armour with the game, it's code is on the reverse side of the leaflet with the dragon armour code on it and you start the quest to get him by going to the merchant located on the far eastern side (is gold as it's 'premium content' apparently).

The funniest convo so far was when Wynne started lecturing Alistair about "Do you know where babies come from" when she found out he was sleeping with my main. Wynne is usually boring but this was hilarious...

I love the humor of the game too, it's not often I laugh or smile most of the time at the banter. Some of the things said truly surprised me! I think my fave so far is Zevran giving Alistair pointers in the bedroom and Alistair going ; "We are NOT talking about this... Lala la la la.." XD

Yep, morri/alistair got a real laugh out of me and I thought was probably the funniest combination so far. I have yet to try zevren or shale in my party.

Huh, I was cracking up a lot during the game. I thought a lot of the interactions between the characters were great comedy.

The character interactions are one of the absolute best things about this game! I could listen to them for hours. I love Zevran and Wynne, Alistair and Ohgren always crack me up, Alistair and Morrigan are constantly back and forth. I'm always sad when they quiet down.
