When you get into the EA chat simply tell them you didn't recieve the Bestbuy preorder content for Dragon Age II on (your system, mine was 360). They immediately unlocked two items, then had to try again for the amulet. I offered to give them a case number for best buy as well as my order number.

Same here. EA live chat helped out and I got two codes (shield and sword on one and amulet on the other). The sword and shield have appeared in my registered game content, but so far no amulet. I suppose if nothing else EA helped me get to the point I would be if I had picked Amazon from the get go.

If EA live chat is not helpful, I try to enter the queue again, and hope for a better result with the new rep.

I got my stuff through EA support chat!

First Shane... scrub no help bum

Then "supervisor" Marco (I doubt he was a supe or probably Shane pretending to be Marco)... same scrub time, same scrub channel. So they pushed me to tier 2 rudely I might add.

Thanks to Jamal C in tier 2. I got my codes in less than 3 minutes. WOOT! Give Jamal a raise and fire Shane and Marco!

Edit: And Jamal in 3 minutes probably could have been less than that because I forgot to tell him what console even though I told Shane/Marco in that 40 minute chat session. Jamal was typing and I put up there that I should mention it's for the Xbox then he stopped typing for a minute then came back with my codes.

They are part of the Sig Ed, but they are not exclusive to that edition. EA ran tons of commericals advertising the sword and shield as pre-order items.

It unlocked the amulet for the PC version too. Sword/Shield (preorder for everyone) was just unlocked for the platform I actually got aka 360. So if ever go PC with it down the road, will have the amulet there. Nice.

I just spoke with Best Buy CS and they told me that the code should have come with the game and they are trying to resolve this problem but it might take up to 2 or 3 business days to do so... Really Best Buy! Really!

No it didn't come with the game. They were supposed to do a SKU that would register your e-mail address to send you the code only they are only aware of the amulet at Best Buy. Best to go through EA's support chat. I hope you don't get Shane or his "supe" Marco because they wasted 40 minutes then just transferred me to tier 2 without warning where Jamal fixed me up in under 3 minutes.

Edit: And a lot of Best Buys didn't do that SKU so a lot didn't even get the amulet.

"Signature Edition" should be:
Exclusive in-game digital armory: Apostate's Courage, Seeker's Bulwark, Adder of Antiva and the Might of Sten. Bonus Character and mission and Downloadable game soundtrack.

Anyone who pre-ordered before Jan 11th through Best Buy and NOT get the physical Signature Edition able to acquire codes for any of this stuff through EA or elsewhere?

I got the amulet as well. Maybe you should try tier 2 as well if a rep won't give you a code on tier 1 like mine and his so-called supervisor did me. Tier 2 under 3 minutes after wasting my time on tier 1.

Well I was just told by Best Buy they are having issues with EA/Bioware sending out the codes. Blaming game starts.

Contacted EA support on the 8th, just received an email today with the code with a letter of apology. I'm not going though BestBuy ever again. This is not the first time BestBuy has messed up an order. From now on it's GameStop or though the EA online store for me.

I first tried the e-mail support on the 8th too. But never heard from them yesterday so went the chat route and got cleared up as mentioned above. Today that e-mail support was closed without anything said. I guess they saw chat cleared it up for me already but could have at least said that when closing the ticket.

I pre-ordered LE from Game.co.uk for the xbox 360 and i got my TBE, Amulet, Tomes, Fadeshear, Lion of Orlais. BB sucks, Bioware isn't to blame apparently BB didn't recieve confirmation to print codes instore so it means having to wade out for emails.

I took no action, it just came in a couple days after I picked up the pre-ordere'd item. I got two, with the subject line "Jason, Redeem your Dragon Age II download" that came w/ the codes. That email address isn't necessarily tied to my bioware / ea account.

BB told me it would be 7-10 bus. days before I would get an email. So I went to the EA link in this thread and got the codes with in 20min.

Same here.. codes finally showed up. Not too happy how long they took. Still, better late than never.
