You haven't read anything about DA2 before today, have you?

Indeed, Bioware has a record (for me) to spoil a lot in previews so I tend to keep myself out of the loop until I play the game.

Not just targeting AoEs is a PITA now, so is simply moving groups of characters through narrow corridors/hallways.

If this is true ... funny thing that the once most praised rpg-developer in the world (by the pc-community) now turns into the bogeyman.

I think statement about the detachable camera got reversed. It's on the console version, not the PC version. You can wiggle it around on the consoles but it's locked on the PC.

What a fracking mess this is ... Wait until the game is out in Europe (more PC users over here) and the crap will really hit the fan ...

Oh crap. Should have never bought this game... I'm a PC gamer and DA:O was awesome, immersive, and an Experience to play through. I still remember when I first saw the wide open landscape before me, and I zoomed out to enjoy the whole view.... Just sitting there, taking a long look at the beautiful scenery and almost hearing the birds and little summer insects, almost being able to breath in the fresh air.

Damn, this DA2 junk is just another off-the-shelf action game. I don't think I've got the energy to play through this piece of junk, it's just mindless hack'n'slash all the way thru... Also, in Origins, I regullarry paused the game mid-combat, just to pan around the camera, zoom out and in to examine the tactical/strategical points of the battle... and to admire the artwork. All this is now GONE. Tears were almost running down my face when I first saw a darkspawn die: it was just a cheap pair of cut-off legs and a comical blood splatter on top of it.

This game should have never been sold under the DragonAge banner. I was expecting to get a DragonAge quality game, but this is just another hack'n'slash action rip-off. I'm so so so sorry that the damage has already been done: Bioware got my money, because I was stupid enough to trust that the DragonAge name would carry a stamp of quality with it.

I was going to start a post on how HORRIBLE the camera view is when playing on PC, but I found dozens of other threads on the subject.

Can't see more than 5 feet in front of me ? >>> DA II is not playable and is a serious disappoint to me after playing DA: O.
