Graphics suddenly stopped working

I created a mod that made a full suit of gear for all of my characters in DA:O.  Some of these items used graphics from awakening, or other modules (such as the grey warden armor).  Everything worked out perfectly fine, the items showed up ingame.  I then stopped playing for about a week.  I started playing again last night, and all of my characters are invisible >.>.  Any of them using the items that use the expansion graphics are not showing ingame.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I re-exported my mod with and without full resources, I deleted the items ingame to cause a respawn on next load...and nothing has worked.  All of the items don't load in-game anymore.  Any help?

Edit:  Great, I think I figured out WHY.  I opened the mod in the toolset and actually looked at the items.  Turns out that all the graphics I had selected are no longer available on the pull-down menu...?  What gives?  THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING!

Turns out this affected items in the game as well.  I'm a human noble, and had found the shield of highever in the starter zone.  It had a unique icon and graphic I'd not seen before.  Now, it's been reverted to a basic and generic shield.  /sigh.

Are the models and textures in your addin's module override folder?

If not, try putting them there.

Can you see them when you first open the toolset, before you do any saves or exports?

I just did a complete fresh reinstall of the game, toolset, and the SQL DB. This is exactly what I did last time. Then I started the toolset, created my mod, and started creating items. All of the item graphics had a tag on them (something like _xp or something, I can't remember) assumedly meaning they were from awakening. At this point, the only thing I'd done to DA was install a couple of other mods, like the JB texture pack, which is currently still installed.

Also as I said, when I reinstalled the toolset/DB, it deleted my mod. I have to restart it. Sucks, but not that big of a deal. I'm just really pissed off that these extremely cool item graphics have just suddenly disappeared.

So, as per your post...which files am I moving, and where exactly am I putting them? As of right now, none of the expansion items are showing up in the toolset like they originally did.

After doing all of this again, the options still are not in the pulldown menu.

I also want to mention that I'm using the Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition from steam, if that has any bearing on anything.  (Again, like I said, I've SEEN the graphics in the toolset before, now they're gone...)

Edit:  The armor I was using for alistair was the warden's armor graphics.  In the toolset I'd selected 'core resources' for the module, and was able to get those graphics.  Now, I can't.

Edit2:  http://www.damods.co...php?topic=549.0  Those images show exactly what I was getting.  I do have Warden's keep installed; so how do I get them into the toolset?  >.>

Edit3: I managed to get the awakening graphics in the mod by extracting all the awakening files into my mod folder.  That's a bit overkill, I'm sure there are only certain files I need.  I still don't have access to the warden's armor though, and I'm not sure how to get that in without overriding the awakening stuff.  How the hell did I have ALL of this stuff available in the first damned place ><

Unfortunately, reinstalling the toolset wipes your module(s) from the data base, so you need to take a backup first. This can be either a complete data base backup, or a copy of your module in builder-to-builder format. I generally do both, for safety.

Awakening content is not provided in the standard toolset data base at present. Previously, you may have installed someone else's mod which "leaked" Awakening content into your module. For example, it might have been a dirty hack to your packages override folder.

As you rightly suggest, it would be better to add only the resources you need to your module override folder. Otherwise, when you make your builder-to-player package, it will be much bigger than players actually need.

Incidentally, strictly speaking, I'm not sure that we are licensed to release Awakening content to players.

Well, I've basically figured it all out, and recreated my mod, minus the awesome grey warden armor. I'm only having ONE issue now: [gxa] Greatsword 8 and [gxa] Longsword 7 show up differently in game than they do in the toolset. Like I said, I put the awakening model and texture files into my mod, so all of the OTHER [gxa] items are showing up. However, these two swords are not. Both swords in the toolset have a curved blade, and an intricate handle (the greatsword has runes on it as well.) In game, they use a blade I've seen before: it has a kind of diamond shaped tip, and a rather generic handle.

I'm still trying to figure out which mod might have 'leaked' these graphics into my toolset in the first place, considering I never removed any of them between reinstalls, or why they suddenly and randomly disappeared in the first place.

Also, thanks a ton for your help. It's nice to know these forums aren't dead :-)

Try exporting the resources in question again, then check the log for errors.

Check that the packages override folder and your addin's core override folder are both free from instances of those resources.

If you're using a script to add the items to the game, ensure it's using the latest resource names.
