this is the advice given...for the pathway in my case I had to type it in, cos it was a hidden file, once the pathway was created, I went to the mtka_tmp and clicked on the Activation Application the screen looking pic not the face...and it did the release date check.

age2.exe file was, I think, because of my AVG blocking the dragon age2
activation and listing it as a Vundo virus.

Now, what I did was I
went to AVG settings, went to the "exceptions" tab under Resident
Shield then added this line to the "add path" tab:
C:Users\\Username\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\mtka_tmp

That should unblock the activation application. After that I just authenticated and activated my copy of DA2.
