Edit: If you click on the Finder button, your username will be highlighted under Places. Just follow the path (/Library/Application Support/Dragon Age II/config) from there.

The path should be something like MacHD/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Dragon Age II/config (where <USERNAME> is whatever name you use to logon to the computer with).

Firstly, there's no such thing as 'Places' on most machines. That's either a regional title or one you created yourself.
Secondly, for all those people with Mac OS 10.7 (Lion) (and I believe they did it by default in Snow Leopard as well, but I can't recall specifically), Apple has decided that people are too stupid to use their computers and have gone the Windows route of hiding folders like "Application Support".
In order to access this folder, you have make the Finder the active application and then press and hold the Option key whilst selecting the "Go" menu. From the "Go" menu, you can select "Library" and this will show the proper folder with the "Dragon Age II" folder within it.
Now that people know this, they'll probably go and **** up their computers; just don't blame me or Apple for it.
EDIT: Oh, and you'll probably also have to change the file permission to "Read & Write" through the contextual menu option "Get Info".

False. In English versions of 10.6 Snow Leopard "Places" is in the side bar of all windows. Though you can add new items to "Places" by dragging folders, documents or apps to it, you cannot change the name. You can hide the items in the list either by clicking on the arrow, or editing your Finder preferences to hide 4 specific places: Home (as in your home folder), Desktop, Applications, and Documents.
In 10.7 Lion there is no "Places" in the side bar. It is called "Favorites."

You can also access your Home/Library folder by pressing command-shift-g while the Finder is active to bring up the "go to" dialog. Then type ~/Library/Application Support/Dragon Age II. This will take you directly to the correct folder where you find the "config" file you need to edit.
the ~/Library folder is YOUR library folder. It will already have the correct permissions because it inherets the permissions from YOUR home folder. If the permissions are not correct you should run Disk Utility in your Applications/Utilities folder and "Repair Disk Permissions" on your Hard Drive.
Warning: Enabling the console will disable the game's ability to upload updates to the BioWare server. This could result in your character profiles not reflecting gained Achievements and you not getting some bonus items.

Also, remember that enabling the console disables the game's ability to update the BW site, which could prevent you from getting some add-ons. So, work on a backup copy of the config file.

I tried all manipulations explained but it still does not work.
[AppDefaults \\ \\ DragonAge2.exe \\ \\ transgaming]
"cmdlineadd" = "-enabledeveloperconsole"
and OpenConsole_0 = Keyboard :: Button_Grave
are well placed in the right location.
Once the game started, " ` " is infact *
I also tried another key but it's the same ...
Does anyone have a solution?

First thing to know is the open command. Open will use the default program you have configured to open a file type. For most files this is by default TextEdit.
Next thing to know is that in command line ~ is the symbol for your home directory. So if you open a terminal then you can type ~ and it will reference your home directory.
Next lesson about the command line is once you have started a file or folder reference if you hit tab the system will try and attempt an auto complete. For example if I type "~/Lib" and then hit tab in command line the following will appear:
~/Library
So to edit the console for those of you having a hard time finding it then do the following key by key ... DO NOT HIT ENTER UNTIL THE INSTRUCTIONS TELL YOU. While for some of you this is rudimentary not everyone is a programmer (yes I happen to be) and I respect that so I'm writing this file as I would for my wife in hopes to help you through the initial learning curve of how to use a command line. I'm a terrible teacher but hopefully this helps!
When I want you to hit the tab key I will enter [tab]
1) Enter open followed by ~/Library/App and then hit tab mine would look like this:
open ~/Library/App[tab]
This should produce the following:
open ~/Library/Application\\ Support/
2) Continue typing Dragon and then hit tab so the console looks like the following on my machine:
open ~/Library/Application\\ Support/Dragon[tab]
This should produce the following:
~/Library/Application\\ Support/Dragon\\ Age\\ II/
3) You are in the home stretch at this point and simply type config and you should see the following:
~/Library/Application\\ Support/Dragon\\ Age\\ II/config
4) NOW hit the [enter] key.
This should open config in your configured text editor.
My big lesson at this point was that not every config file has the following entry:
[AppDefaults\\\\DragonAge2.exe\\\\transgaming]
Without that you can't enable the console and none of the instructions I saw referenced that you needed to enter it. No big deal easy enough do a search in your config and find that entry if it doesn't exist add it to the bottom of the file.
After you have found or created that entry on the very next line add:
"cmdlineadd" = "-enabledeveloperconsole"
As suggested in http://dragonage.wik...(Dragon_Age_II)
Finally make sure your key binding is set up properly. Same basic procedures apply only it's KeyBindings.ini.
Hope that helps!
