Now you may be saying "Well gee, $10 more isn't much" but when you put $10 down on a $59 game and hoping to only pay $49 when you go to pick it up and you end up having to pay $61.. that's a leap.. good thing I brought a little extra cash.
I was wondering if anyone else ran into this? Have I been cheated or something?
(I live in Ontario Canada but I don't see how that would make a difference if I saw it advertised in my paper for $59 back in january)
Please let me know what's up! I'm going to call a few GameStop's while I'm waiting for someone to reply :3
EDIT: SOLVED! I phoned up another Gamestop and explained to the man the situation and he said because of Ontario's stupid tax, it was $59 plus like $8 tax, plus a $3 warrenty on the disc, pushed it a little past $70.. so minus my $10 preorder, my amount was like $61 n' change.
Apparently, Gamestop has had a few scared people come in to see that scary price and ask so I hope that if someone else sees this, then they'll know it's alright :3
If you still don't feel at ease, call up your Gamestop location and explain nicely, they'll tell you
Sorry for bugging you all with this topic post and have fun playing Dragon Age 2!
