 I popped in my copy, and I haven't even gotten to play the actual game yet, and it's going on something like 2 hours now.

Occasionally, it'll try to connect to the servers on the main menu, but it never says "Server Unreachable" or anything, it just keeps saying "Connecting to Dragon Age Servers..."

However, even when I play without being connected to the internet, I make it as far as the Gender/class Selection Screen...then I get to enjoy a seemingly endless black loading screen.

I'm gonna try deleting the files that it saved to my HDD and reinstalling it, but if that doesn't work, anyone else having these issues, or know of a possible fix?

There's another thread about this posted earlier. I had the same problem; took 7 minutes for it to finish loading.

I don't know how long you waited, but if it was only a minute or two, try for longer.

I waited about 15 minutes before giving up. I'm currently reinstalling it, so I'll try just waiting it out, I guess. Thanks!

Same issue, expect I cannot get past the "new game" option from the main menu.  Everything else works.  I'm going to try reinstalling the game content to the HDD.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled everything and still a no-go. Hangs at loading screen when "new game" option is chosen... Signature edition.

this is insane. I've never had so many issues getting a NIB game to start on a console. Bioware, this is poor form and your rep has been hurt by this from a very loyal customer...
