So I figure I'll make the best of being European, and ask people who have already had a chance to play about a few things that might affect how I'd want to go about my game; no spoilers, of course, these are pretty much just questions about the mechanics I (and others, if they want to post theirs) have:

1. How big of a problem is the fact that the imports aren't working properly?  If I actually care about the choices I made, would I be better off waiting til it's fixed to use one of my imports (for that matter, do the preset options also get corrupted?)?  Is the degree to which your DAO decisions matter more like some random dwarf saying "So yeah, after King Insert-Choice-Here had me thrown out of Orzammar, I came to Kirkwall to open my armour shop!" or more like dead King Alistair showing up to give you a quest to kill the evil godbaby he never actually fathered?

2. What are the names of the quests which will move you into the next act?  Do all non-essential quests from an act become uncompleteable once you switch acts?

3. Likewise, how do your companion conversations carry over between acts?  Is it one set of conversations available per act which are lost if you don't talk to the relevant people?  No conversations actually lost, but more only becoming available at a certain point in the plot?  Everything available when your friendship/rivalry reaches a set amount, regardless of plot?  How much do I need to try and space out how much I talk to people, and how much will the game do so for me?

4. Likewise again, how does this final confrontation with someone you're a rival with work?  Does it come once you've maxed rivalry, or at a set point in the plot?  If, say, my bloodmage takes a mage-hater around, are we going to have our confrontation five minutes in and then a rather boring rest of the game together?

5. Anything like Mana Clash, spells/talents/anything else I'll want to be saving the game before using in case of crash?

6. Anything else Mechanics Related you wish you'd known before starting that not knowing has significantly affected your enjoyment?
