Right off the bat, no this question isn't about companion outfitting (or, more correctly, the lack thereof../../../images/forum/emoticons/angry.png)

I'm
just wondering if I'm missing something on my Steam version of DA2.
When I open up my inventory, I see all of these weapons and armor pieces
with interesting names, but with absolutely no descriptions beyond
their attributes. Is there some control or command I'm missing?

loved it in DA:O, the way that every item had some kind of backstory
attributed to it, so when you found an item, you actually got a feeling
of accomplishment, you got drawn into the world a little bit more. If I
have missed something, someone please inform me, because I personally
find it completely infuriating to open my inventory window and see a
listing like "Gloves of the Unknowable Unknown" without any information
about what the hell that means beyond some hollow stats../../../images/forum/emoticons/pinched.png

So please, please, please, If i've somehow skipped over the "WTF is this?!?" button, someone let me know.
...........Or did Bioware just forget to put the Role-Playing in their RPG?../../../images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png
