I've been playing bioware's games since KotOR, and they ALWAYS pull some stupid crap where you have to enter a bajillion and a half codes to get the "free" sh*t you paid extra for. Just remeber, weather you like it or not YOU WILL LIVE IN THE CLOUD. Don't make them browbeat you for it...they're giving you a pretty stick that shoots fire for christ's sake!

if you've unlocked somethin like the staff from subscribing to the newsletter, it'll show up in "extras" which would confirm that your accounts are hooked up.tomahawk_command wrote...

I've been playing Bioware games for as long as they have been making them and they have always been great. Regardless, this fiasco with the codes has seriously damaged their reputation in my eyes. That might not matter much to the company at large but for me it's extremely disheartening.
I bought the signature edition for some cool extras and now am regretting it. In the future I don't think I'm going to shell out any extra for any extra editions if I have reason to believe it's going to be tied to this train-wreck of a social service.

It almost seemed like less of a headache to buy the standard edition and just pay the $14 for the Exiled Prince and Emporium packs (although I don't think the Emporium content is worth $7).
But in doing that, EA wins because they'd have squeezed more out of us. It just frustrates me that one of the three best game studios in the world finds it acceptable to jerk around its customers like BioWare does.

I fixed my situation with the codes yesterday(it was a quite obvious solution) my XBL GT is already linked to an e-mail(that I don't use) that is connected to an account here, sign into that one, set up the profile(username etc.), then just sub to the newsletter again, enter my codes, and use the extra DA:L code I have to unlock the items using that e-mail.
Yes, but wouldn't you have just preferred to enter a simple code into XBL, download to your HD and just be done with it? Why do we have to log into a separate web site and jump through BioWare's little hoops just to access content that every other game maker in the world makes it easy to download directly via XBL? <_<

True, I would of prefered to just enter an XBL code, and regarding your other comment, The Exiled Prince and Black Emporium come with codes that ARE entered through XBL, and not the site.HMR Greg wrote...

That would have been awesome if the code for Exiled Prince would have actually been in my Signature Edition. I wasted a half-hour trying to access it, and then wasted another 45 minutes on-line with EA tech support until they confirmed my registration of the Signature Edition, and then generated a new code for Exiled Prince. Just getting DA2 up and running with all of the Sig Ed and GameStop bonus content was a giant hassle.
