Purchased my Dragon Age 2: Bioware Signature Edition through EA, downloaded and preloaded through EA Download Manager and registered the game on here and I keep getting these errors when trying to play:

I am not sure how that first link got in there, ignore that, it's the photobucket one that shows the errors

I have the same issue but the game works fine for me after I just click "continue." I'm going to try reinstalling the game later and see if that fixes the problem.

Exact same thing here. When I click on Play, the screen goes black. Have to CTL+ALT+DEL to bring up the task manager. Then I can see that error message. Click on 'Cancel' and the game starts up fine.
Win7 Pro x64
EVGA GTX 560ti running the 266.66 driver (latest WHQL)
6 GB RAM
Core i7 920
Running with DX11.
I've made an exception for DA2 through the firewall, just in case, but no joy. Going to try the beta drivers tonight to see if that's got anything to do with it (seems a lot of errors in start-up are due to DX11 and driver issues).
