[Super Drone]

So... I've been playing the game for a few hours now.

What're you all whining about, exactly? I can't actually figure out what you're upset about, the game seems just as engaging as the first one so far. I like the characters I've met so far. I think the combat system is different and more fun for a Non-Mage character.

So what's the issue, exactly? Is this largely "It's different so it SUCKS!!!111" or are there actual, legitimate complaints?

DAO was linear too. Yeah you could pick which order you did the quests, but they were always the same quests, and all four of them needed to be completed to bring you to the same end point every time.

Level up system, inventory, Art style, no choice as to race, ME combat changes being made to a Medieval Turn Based game, Breasts and Asses are made bigger, obviously on purpose.

These are my complaints.

i use to return Pc game that i didn't like and my excuse to the clerk was:"my little brother didn't like is not what he want,can i have a refund?". that was good time,back then game box only have a openseal

the game would be playable with an isometric camera mode. PLEASE someone at bioware realize this and give us a patch. i beg you. if you spent the time to create a 1gb high-rez texture pack that did nothing for gameplay, then please just build the top-down textures you need and give us a working camera again.

I rather like the game but I can see how some may not like it at all.  Its interesting to see views very polarized about DA2.  either you really like it or you hate it.  Not hearing so much about people saying it was OKAY.

also Mr. Woo needs a break from all his killing of threads today

Yes yes there was and i walked away promptly after the demo, i could not cancel my pre order fast enough,  i even made a post last week about why, needless to say i was flamed all to hell and back, but as it happens i seemed to have been right. I may not have been totally correct but this game is definately not a 60 dollar title, at best being generous 30 bucks.

seriously people are acting like its a monumental change its not if you think this games more linear go back and play origins always only 1 way foward folks just the illusion of choice guess the first game fooled alot of people

combat if you like slower game play you wont like this that simple i dont believe it stops it being an RPG nor do i reckon that its a hack an slash so each to their own

story if you thought DA was about the grey wardens rather then the world you'll be pissed

In agreement with much of this thread however as I once traded Currancy I take issue with this. Current rates its 1 USD= 0.98 AUD at present. Much of the infrastructure thats intact in the US plus the more Militant nature of the US populance I think plays apart in prices remaining low for us, though for the most part is still high given the pentance most Americans make. And America is a big market than can be counted on, provided they arn't eating in soup kitchens will spend money in the Industry, untill more recent times and even now, most global sales do not even come close to those in Japan and the US.

In fact in recent years the rich and poor gap have exploded with only 1% of the countries wealth belonging to 50% of the population, while a small 1% controls 36%. Plus taxes while not as high as in Europe are a pay killer, as is the majorly high Utilities, Food, Power, and Rent.

The game hadn't been live for 8 hours. I am still waiting for steam to unlock mine here which is still another 10 hours away.
