With the game just out, many people are basking themselves in the strong gamplay that DA2 offers. I'm just wondering what kind of things you guys have come acrossed so far that you really like. It could be minor or large.
- How a lot of fights involve movment.
Back in DA:O, even on hard (what I played), it felt like your characters were always standing still in midcombat. Spare when you were on your last legs and had to kite the thing in circles while your other team mate worked down that last 300 health.
My first dragon fight was very fun. I had to have aveline dodge to the left and right to avoid fires while moving the dragon away from the group, and I had to keep my ranged character out of the Quake-AoE's radius. It proved somewhat challenging on my first try since you're given such a small area. It really felt like an upgrade to a boss fight as compared to say... The highdragon in DA:O.

Party banter is killing me, i woke my kid up last night on accident from laughing so hard.
The surprising amount of information that did transfer from DA:O (Heck there was a 1 liner from Isabella about sleeping with my warden... i didn't even remember that choice for a minute)
and the whole reaction time in combat i really like, 2h feels far more engaging than swing... wait....wait....wait....wait.... swing (unless you use an ability)

I must say the combat is a lot more fun for me with this one. I like the fact of talking to your companions at there home base for their conversation trees/ quests as opposed to having them while in the field. I cant tell you how many times I initiated an important conversation with a companion when I was trying to loot a fallen foe or open a chest. Especially if it was a love or relationship one that I would have much rather had at camp around the roaring fire.

I like the different character specializations. Not gonna go into my whole rant (think i did it twice on another thread) but the way that none of the characters have the same specialized trees is awesome.
