First off any content downloaded via Xbox Live Marketplace works for any gamertag on the xbox the content was first downloaded to, I know this because we have the fable 3 collectors and all content from that is on both of our gamertags, as is everything we have from Dragon Age : Origins and Awakenings is on both gamertags.
Downloaded games/themes/game add-ons etc. etc. work on all gamertags also. The only non shareable downloads are avatar purchases, my main issue was with the pre-order content that we are FORCED to use the EA servers to get. I have NEVER been forced to go on my computer to download something for my xbox.
BIOWARE. Downloading extras?

True, I forgot the exception of transfering tags to other consoles, which was the root of my confusion with the downloadables.
Mass Effect 2 had similar web prompted dlcs, perhaps battlefield, but I'm not positive. What are you missing anyways?

It's not easier it's how they suck you into the cloud linking your primary email, game console, laptop, desktop, internet TV, and your toaster all to the same comercial nexus.
I can't make toast without being logged in to my Steam account these days. The cloud has control!
On a serious note, you must be logged in to your EA Account (which on console means you must be on Xbox Live or PSN, respectively) and it must be the same one you redeemed the codes to. Being logged in at all times greatly helps us track usage and other fun things in order to better serve you, the community, in the future.
That said, I recognize that it's not the most ideal setup for some users but it is currently the only option.
So the email addresses I use for Xbox Live & Bioware CF need to be the same? And if they are not then I just lost my stuff if I redeemed the code already???
You know, I really expect more from BioWare... it's also not "currently the only option", BioWare could simply do what every other company does and just give us an in game code to DLed the stuff we're entitled to. It's currently the only option that BioWare offers, but it's clearly not the only option available to the Xbox 360 community.
This is a cluster. I've been looking around this "site" for half an hour to see where I can link my Xbox Live account to this one and it's not there. If BioWare intended for me to use the email address for my Xbox Live account it should of said that when I registered! Oh and that email address I use for Xbox Live is ONLY used for Xbox Live, nothing else.
I've been out of town for a week and this is the first time I've been able to sit down with DA2... I've not been able to play yet because I've been dealing with trying to get the game to "work" like it should with this code issue... not a happy camper.
Like I said, I really expect more from BioWare...

The best thing to do is go to http://support.ea.co...at/chat_landing and have a chat with one of the people there, they will be able to help you out with sorting out the registered account etc.
