I'm at the point where I must acquire fifty sovereigns for Bartrand for the expedition, and I've gotten them, but I can't seem to find him anywhere. I've marked the quest as my main quest, but I get no marker. The only things I could think of that are stopping me was maybe that I needed to complete all immediate quests, but I'm not sure. Anyone know how to get him to appear?

He's in Hightown and should be marked on your map if you are available to go on the Expedition.
You do need to complete all main quests in order for you to be able to go.
Also you need to follow up on the rumors in your journal as well.

I would recommend finishing all the side quest before moving to the deeproads so your at a good level and have the best gear you can before heading down
